strange, the PA message by the captain seemed normal with not a sign of worries nor did he seem nervous at all. The lack of communication between the pilots has maybe to do with culture difference. Many pilot friends that fly in Asia say that conversations are often held to a minimum due to culture difference. The reason why the captain was gone for so long, maybe because there was a waiting line, 2 people or so ahead to use the bathroom. Due to lack of evidence, I do not believe it was suicide

Not a suicide at all. Crash was caused by thermal shock to the rudder's power control unit, same problem brought down 2 other Boeing 737s: United flight 585 and USAir flight 437.

NTSB assumes all pilots are suicidal/homicidal unless they can find evidence to the contrary, so pilot is guilty until proven innocent. Unfair. Pilot was slandered to spare manufacturer from legal liability. Civil court found pilot did not cause crash.

Do a google search on "Boeing 737 rudder issues" to read more.

I think they would have found the rudder problems with enough scrutiny; they do not think ALL pilots are suicidal if they cannot find evidence; obviously they thought the pilots of the other rudder incidents were suicidal then, case closed. Don't think so.
