  • I finally got my Kel Tec PF-9. A long time a coming. Between getting my pistol permit (which took 6 months), having to spend money on Christmas, getting the money (from winning my Fantasy Football league), and having to wait for it to ship (no one had one so I bought it on Gun Broker). I can't seem to put it down. Now I just have to get to the range. Thanks Nutn for the reviews on this and the suggestion!!

  • dumb question, why do people care about how much an empty gun weighs....i understand what grain you shoot will make a slight diff...but im not concerned with what it weighs after i have to shoot it, only when its loaded when im carrying it.

  • @streetpunk99 not everybody carries the same bullet load so that will effect how much the gun weights overall so for a reviewer its better to give a base ine weight that will not change.

  • uggh, hating the face i bought a g32 45 g.a.p......figured it would be smalle enough.....soooo uncomfortable. wish i had one of these.

  • Love all your vids but why would the weight of the gun with a empty mag be more important if you carry with the mag full. A GLOCK 17 may weigh less then a 1911 but when you weigh in the 17+1 rounds vs 7 or 8+1 the weight difference is a little bit less. Keep makin' the great vids.

  • Great review... You gained a Sub!

  • "if i had a black circle that would have tightened up a little"- c'mon man, those arent bad groupings, and its called a sharpie hahah

  • Is there a tabletop in the pipe for the Ruger LC9?

  • I went with the Ruger LC9 instead and regret nothing. It just suited my POU the best, and shoots reliably. With that said, I love nutnfancy and his channel. His table tops are always illuminating. I think I've watched close to half of his videos. And that's saying something! Time well spent. Especially the Philosophy vids on his playlist - by far the best.

  • Just purchased my PF-9 a couple days ago! Only put about 50 rounds through it so far, and I absolutely love it!! Thank you for the fantastic table top! Also had my options down to the Kel Tec PF-9 and the Ruger LC9! Your shoot off vid really helped me make my decision on which firearm to purchase as an EDC weapon! Thanks alot and keep the awesome vids coming! Love what you do bro!

  • it holds as many rounds as a 1911

  • I found this company, called Twisted Industries that is making a 22 conversion for the PF9, anybody have this kit?

  • Got me my pf9 a few months ago. I love it and carry it all

the time, I definitely see the difference to my PT .40 cal Tuarus

    less weight more comfortable.

  • Just held my first PF-9 and did I ever want to buy it on the spot. Man these things are hard to find. At least in Upstate NY. I am trying to sell stuff to buy it. Great feeling little gun. I talked my step-father into getting one of these too. He really likes that fact that on Kel Tec's website you can get a pocket clip for this gun. Thanks Nutn for all the great vids!

  • WOULD THE P-11 BE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME? IS ONLY A 5$ DIFFERENCE

  • I now own a pf-9, its part of my everyday carry along with the springfeild 1911 I keep it in the truck, but the pf-9 stayes with me at all times, only problem I have with it is the stiff slide release, but it is slowly working its way out, have the belt clip an punitive estention on the mag, I think is a must, I also have a problem finding extra mags,

  • Just picked up my PF-9, put 66 rounds through. Accurate, smooth trigger, and no malfunctions. Snappy recoil but thats expected. I kept the last 8 of the defense rounds (Golden Sabre). Great purchase that disappears on my person, I'd recommend it for sure! You Rock Nutn!

  • I only have about 20 rounds through this gun but it's definitely a winner. My only concern is actuating the magazine release inadvertently. This seems to be happening from my support hand where I rest my palm after a shot. I was surprised at how well this gun shot for me and I'm not that good of a shot. Yet.

  • Bought my PF9 on your recommendation and love it! Inspired by your video's, I made a point to carry every day since my 21st birthday. Some of your philosophy videos really hit home and made me realize how important it is for me to be prepared and carry every day, not only for myself, but also for others. Thank you for all of the knowledge, tips, and tricks you have imparted on all of your viewers. More importantly, keep up the good work!

  • @robertmpierce1 Great to hear! I turn 20 in April...and I have also been inspired to carry the day I turn 21!

  • @bluzboi1 Good for you! If interested in the PF9, I've had the most luck with pancake holsters as far as comfort goes. Currently rocking a MK tactical holster and loving it.

  • Also thank you for your service and for making this channel. Thanks

  • Nutnfancy thanks so much for what you do, the things you stand for and the info you provide. Im a huge fan. I was surprised when i heard you had shot the pm9 in spokane. I am active duty army and i am stationed at ft lewis. I would like to know if you ate coming back yo spokane anytime soon. I would love to come out and meet you snd maybe get to shoot some with you. I dont care about being in videos or on the channel but i just think you are a real genuine guy and love you reviews and knowledge

  • After a lot of research on several different carry guns and finally decided to go with the .9mm Kel-Tec PF9, partly because of Nutnfancys reviews.

After I thoroughly cleaned and lubed the PF9, I took it to the range for the break-in.

I ran a hundred rounds of Win FMJ through the gun, followed by 2 mags of my planned carry ammo (Horn. CD).

Then, I ran another 100 rnds of Win. FMJ, and then the remaining 10 rnds of the carry ammo through it.

I had zero failures of any kind.

  • Love nutnfancy's videos. Bought a Kel-tecPF9. shot 500 round with a host of problems. The last 100 round the problems became predictable. FTF and FTE with 3 rounds in the mag. Also same issue with different mags and different ammo. Luckly I bought the insurance and it only cost me 15 buck to ship it back to kel-tec and my gun shop handled all the stuff. However it has shak'in my confidence in the weapon. God forbid with my life was on the line. I'll give it one more chance.

  • I'm getting two for Christmas, one for me and one for the wife.Already ordered, woo-hoo!

  • Christmas is coming can not wait to get this gun and stop carry my pt99

  • Nutn, what makes you like the PF9 over the P11? I know the PF9 is a little slimmer but the firepower of the P11 is awesome for it's size. Did you ever review a P11?

  • Your videos made me go buy one!!

  • @willw999 I just bought mine 20 minutes ago...LOL

  • Great vid, as always. Thanks for your work. It is appreciated.

  • Any plans to do a quick comparison now that Kahr has the new CM9 out? PM9 cool with a $500 tag... Worth it over the PF?

  • Nutn' sold another weapon for Kel Tec. I have 200+ thru it with only one malfunction(fte) at around 150 rnds. Other than that, I'm very impressed with it for the price. It's ugly, spartan, snappy as hell, but it definitely works, even with a steady diet of Wal Mart ammo and a hella long trigger. The guy next to me at the range the other day had 3-5 malfunctions per mag in his LC9, so Im thinkin the PF-9 was a smart buy.

  • What is the recoil like on this? My wife is very small and this would be for her. thanks

  • @rockstarr469 It's pretty harsh, id say it's like shooting an airweight .38spl with +p, my sister in law shot my pf9 and the taurus tcp in 380 and she rather to shoot the 380 (less snappy). but that pf9 proved 100% reliable in my book

  • How does this gun function with +p ammo?

  • Paper work is in, now just the stupid 2 day waiting period and I pick up my PF9. Unbelievable how thin that pistol is. WOW are those sights tight. Can't wait to pick up and to fire.

  • Left eye and right hand dominant must suck... my girlfriend is just like that and she has a helluva time trying to use iron sights on a rifle.

  • @NifoOtiBoy Ask her to shoot the rifle with both eyes open and to tilt her head a little more to the right. As for pistol have her shoot in the weaver stance. Cross dominance really does suck.

  • @HollyTheFireNinja Hey thanks for the input. Ill have her give it a whirl :)

  • It seems like I have a lot of SIP (shit in pants) going on, can anyone offer me a SOD choice (Strap on dong). My PLU is all out of wack!

  • For home defense on a budget, why not just get a shotgun for half the price?

  • @jon780 he is saying PF9 serves purpose of ccw and home-d firearm. yeah you can get a shotgun for less money, but you can't conceal it.

  • Got a new one in trade for an old .22 revolver. It came with four mags and two boxes of ammo.

  • I have been watching your vids. I bought a few guns do to your review and have kept my eyes and ears open for a couple more.

  • thumbs up if you think this guy is the 'BOSS'

  • i really hope i can better my ToA (threshold of armament) to accommodate for this gun

  • I always though the Kahr " was the only game in town" in terms of CCW. Thank goodness for Kel-Tec.

  • im planning on having the pf-9 as my concealed weapon and ruger p95 9mm as my side arm, was wonderin what people thought. keep in mind its due completely to price but i feel that is the best for the price.

  • @MrSalmon88 i'm not an expert, but the Rugers seem to be top notch... still, largely depends on what works for you. thats my two cents for what it's worth. :)

  • you don't have to watch this vid until 1:30 when he actually shows the gun it's about

  • "Social Purposes" haha

  • Hahaa. I stopped carrying my glock 23 because of the exact reason you said. Its light but very bulky width wise. Im a skinny guy too and the only way i can conceal it is if im wearing a button up shirt of which i dont wear too much. Im actually on the fence between this gun or the p-11. why? i need a relatively powerful gun thats compact enough for my girlfriend to handle because my 23 is a bit heavy for her. the 23 is going to stay home and the p11 or pf9 will be our edc.

  • @diablo17858just got a p-11 a month ago and couldnt ask for a better ccw gun. a lil wider than the pf-9 but the pf-9 is too thin i think. p-11 holds 10 + 1 to 7+1 for the 9. Quality polymer and steel parts. Have put 500 + rds through it and no problems. Its a steal what u get for the price compared to other brands and even the pf-9 being the same quality as the 11. u get more gun w the p-11. A bit smaller but right w a glock 26 where it counts, and i love glocks, i have a 30. Just bein honest

  • @RythmnMaster1 I agree with you on the P-11. Overall, I think it's a better gun than the PF-9 and have directed several friends to it for EDC. Dependable as all get out after about 2,000 rounds and so lightweight I personally forget that I'm carrying it most times. I'm sure the PF-9 is similarly reliable, but the greater ammo capacity of the P-11 would still see me pass on the PF-9.

  • im considering the kel tec for a carry gun but would it make a good range gun as well?

  • 15 ft standing fast fire with win pdx1 124 gr i shoot 9-12" group.. and i shoot a lot, recently did a SD pistol course with it and people gave me a hard time because i scored low but you know what, the pf9 is what i carry and after 1500-1600rnds tossed in it, it still goes "bang" with every pull of the trigger.. and im used to clover leaf patterns with my .45 standing 21+ft

  • I have one of these. I have shot it twice, clean it every time I use it. Clean it every 6 months. It gets rust on the slide at the pull back. It also has jammed every time I've shot it. I'm a competent gun owner, I take good care of my guns. I don't carry, but if I did, I'd rather carry a .38 revolver.

  • Nutn. Thanks for all your personal time put in on tnp. One of the main reasons i decided to get ccw. The pf9 is perfect for edc and its awesome. Thanks again

  • What is a social acceptance situation?

  • they need to make one in .40

  • I am considering buying one of these

  • maybe its because ive only carried for a couple years, but i just cant see how a mid size glock can be too much. then again i carried a S&W 4566 for the first 8 months i had ccw. i was thinkin about the pf 11 but i hated the trigger. i ended up with glock19. anyway, nice vid. i like your approach to a review

  • Really Kahr makes junk? Pretty sure kel-tec is a much more know company for making thinks while not junk but just tons of recalls or just nothing else

  • @winkdogydog101 can u try that again plz?

  • Kahr makes junk period

  • I love the DiamondBack DB9

  • Would you recommend an IWB holster for the Keltec? I purchased one as my new CCW system and am looking for a reliable, low vis holster. Thanks!

  • @srfokay Last year I picked up a Crossbreed IWB for my PF-9 and couldn't be happier. After wearing it for a period of time it molds to your body contour and is very comfortable. May cost a bit more than other options, but I was OK with that considering I was supporting a fellow Missourian.

  • the PF9 has all kinds of accessories , like a belt clip that eliminates need for a holster. I don't know about Kahrs customer service, but keltec service is outstanding. the PF9 is ugly, and rough around the edges, but it goes bang every time you pull the trigger.

  • pf9 is listed at 12.7 ounces unloaded. I wish the pf9 had an extended magazine attachment like the glocks to get the capacity up to 8 +1.

  • but the p11 holds more rounds and is only a little bigger.unless i'm mistaken.why does no1 bring that old standby up?

  • for the price of a pm9 u could probably find 2! keltec pf9's....that'd be optimal. then u could carry both of them in a custom holster like nick cage in faceoff...i'm such a dumbass dreamer..surely 1 with holster and spare mags would be enough.

  • i've always thought that the pF9 keltec looks sorta like they slapped it together without much thought...i just wish they made the slide a little nicer without that huge abysmal gap between the slide and frame. i mean, something is gonna fall in there.

  • @paikmendez I agree. That g--a--p between the slide and frame is a big turn off for me. I realize the price is half that of a Kahr PM9, but the looks of the PF9 show why the price is in the $225 range.

  • Hey Nutn', did you end up installing a grip sleeve on the PF9? I find it to be a web snapper. Shoots great but the web of my hand is a dark red from practice. I have large hands but I am open to suggestions on better control.

  • Turn 21 in 6 months, buying a pf9 in 6 months. Also going hunting for a CCW in SoCal, wish me luck! How does the pf9 carry in a front pocket in regular jeans? I've just done the ruler trick so I know it will fit completely and remain concealed just wanted your experience. Thanks!

  • I'm suprised you aren't more partial to the Kel Tec P11 with it only weighing 2 more ounces yet fire power capability can go all the way from 10 rounds to 15 rounds. It is a little thicker in the grip and seems like it would feel more comfortable with some one with larger hands.

  • i am another person that Nutn sold on a pf9

  • Hi Nut....

Was wondering your thoughts on the striker fire vs. the hammer fire on these two models...

Also, how bout the Ruger LC9? Fits into this catagory as well.

  • Great review. Love the project

  • Kahr has cheaper pms out now

  • how would you compare kel tec p11 to this? it costs a little less and you get a few more rounds in the basically the same size frame

  • my kahr pm9 is a piece of junk. it jams alot. which is sad bc its really accurate and feel really good. really mad me mad when i spent all that money.

  • I've shot and like the Keltec PF9 but not so much the Kahr PM9. Considering the Kahr is twice as much, it's not twice the gun. It's recoil was good and grouped well but wasn't reliable enough for me no matter how many rounds I put through it, and I couldn't afford to continue to keep sending it back to the manufacturer. Just my experience.

  • @MAJORSDAD Guess I'm lucky. I had one FTF after the first or second mag when my PM9 was new. Since, I've put several hundred through it with not one problem. I put a new recoil spring in it, just to be 'sure', and it's the best smaller CCW gun I have. It's sweet to the max. I'm looking at a PF-9 tho 'cause as we know, being able to afford even one PM9 makes anyone lucky indeed! I'll carry the PF-9 and beat it, keeping the PM9 for my kids when they are responsible 'nuff to own a fine gun.

  • In the future I wouldn't compare too much to another gun, because people won't always have handled the gun you are comparing to. I see way way to much comparison to Glocks but not everybody has shot one, or like me, I wish I could like Glocks because I'd be set. I think Gaston Glock screwed up on the grip angle, its too steep to point naturally unless you point with your thumb like Bill Clinton. I think a fist type grip is more natural on guns.

  • i have the pf9 and p32, both super reliable and light. i used to carry the glock 19 and glock 23, now im just carrying kel tec.

  • Hey, I'm left-eye-right-hand dominant too. Still, I've been aiming with my right eye for years.

  • I've been trying choose between a PF-9 or a 22/45 to be my first handgun. I just turned 20 so I still have a year to think about my different options. I'm thinking if Wisconsin gets concealed carry I'll get the PF-9, If not, the Ruger 22/45; either way I'll also be buying some OD Green DuraCoat.

By the way; If you think I'm just an irresponsible stoner because of my Youtube username, just know I am disabled because of life long chronic joint pain and I am an extremely safe gun handler.

  • I'm currently in the market to buy and I find your videos very informative, truthful and interesting. I like the check-list you've compiled and integrate in your videos. Thanks!

  • Hey Nutn ur descriptions on this vid and part 2 are the same..... I hope u can get it fixed when u get the time.

  • damn, i wish i could have a firearm here in America just like in my hometown in Arabia.

not only i wouldn't be approved to have firearm for hunting and such, i would probably be harrased because i applied...

    man i miss my kalashnikov.

if there is a hunting party going out in missouri, contact me. i would like to join you even if i have to pay for renting the firearm

  • Typical SD engagement occurs within 3-10 ft, and often less, and lasts 3 sec on average. And you won't be using your sights.

  • You are CRAZY! The Kel-Tec PF9 is UNRELIABLE.

  • Hi,

Just got my PF-9 and took it to the range. It jammed 3 of 5 magazine clips. Didn’t eject my standard Winchester 115gr Luger rounds. Not happy, but we’ll see how Kel-Tec reacts I guess. Curious if this is a widespread problem. Thought the initial premature marketification problems were over by now, April 2011. I hear that they have been good about customer support, hope so.

  • @Miketrt It needs to be broken in with 200 rds, and it likes 124gr the best.

  • @teammazza thanks - they did send me the shell extractor kit, didn't seem any different at all. So, installed and, kept it a bit loose and it jammed less. Think you are right - the barrell is very tight and my guess is it just needs to be 'honed' a bit from the shells going in and out of it. Even learning to shoot it - man, not the accuracy of my Glock 9 for sure, but better with proper technique (not that I have that yet, but better.)

    Kel-Tec was responsive, so that's a plus.

  • Thank you very much! All your videos help! Sub-scribbeeddd

  • Which is adequate for most social purposes....WTF?

  • @BangWutang like getting together with gang member and "conversing" (hopefully a one-way conversation where you don't let them respond :)

  • All this talk about problems make me want to get a lcr in 357 I was thinking of getting the lcp or the p3at but now I still don't know

  • Comment removed

  • I bought this handgun (with the metal mag release) and had a less than good experience. Kel-tec is the most unreliable fire arm I have ever shot. I am now in the process of sending this handgun in for the second time due to failures. Curiously the same thing happened to an associate who also bought this handgun. It sounds like Nutnfancy has had a good experience with it, I recommend you be careful and shoot the handgun before you buy. I would recommend the ruger lc9 over this handgun any day

  • lol forget you have it on.... have you ever accidentally washed you hand gun . i have done that with knifes.

  • Great vid! I'm seriously looking at a Kimber Solo for EDC pocket carry...money is not an issue...any thoughts? I need pocket carry and 9mm and solid reliability....

  • Have had nothing but problems with my PF9. Very first round out of the gate...click, with at least 1 failure per magazine. Having trouble getting a response from Kel Tec customer service as well. There are better guns out there for not that much more money.

  • hey nutn...was curious, does you pf9 rattle a little when you shake it? Mine does. wondering if a little play between the upper and lower is normal.

  • im 15 can i carry that around with me for my age

  • @R3DST4R1 depends where you live but not in the united states with some exceptions. just do your research and the best of luck

  • @R3DST4R1 prolly not dude. in most states you have to be 18 to possess a handgun and 21 to get a concealed handgun permit. a few states will allow open carry w/o a permit when your 18, but that pretty much as young as you can go and it must be in plain sight. my advise is find a lock back folding knife for defense. in most states, a blade less than, 4" is legal to carry. hope this helps.

  • Which gun would you prefer, cw9 or pf9?

  • @donniecr Never mind, part 2 answered that question for me.

  • just wanted to say how much i appreciated all these videos! keep up the good work!

  • @toughpinoy Thank you!

  • @nutnfancy Was thinking of picking up a LCR for daily CC. After your recommendation on that video I went hear to check this one out since you recommended it in the other video. Just saying your network works. :)

  • @nutnfancy

the pf-9 is a really good gun from what i've seen online but for $50 i bought the diamondback 9mm instead and im glad i did slimmer and lighter than the kt making the pf9 no longer the lightest 9mm on the market amazing little pocket piece. 100% reliable but i've only fired 100 rounds through mine so far. I'm sure tnp's opinion of the diamondback will be high once it gets reviewed.

  • @nutnfancy

sorry i meant to type $50 more than the keltec in my previous comment i bought the db9 for $350 after shipping. i'd highly suggest it to anyone.

  • Worst purchase ever

Returning the PF-9 for multiple failures to feed, failures to eject, stove piping, and misfires. Approx 100 rds through gun. These issues occur @ approx 50% failure rate. Cleaning and a variety of ammo types do not resolve the malfunctions. Perhaps the different size dots on the rear sights were a forewarning of the poor quality parts and craftsmanship that went into the manufacture of this item. Not a fan its a liability to Kel-Tec in its present configuration.

  • How can you say that the Kahr is the main competition for the Keltec?? The LC9, Bersa .380, PK380, P-11, PT709, Bodyguard 380 are the Keltec's competition ... you can't say that a 265.00 gun's comp is a 600+ gun. The Kahr's comp is the Kimber Solo 9 and other S.C. guns over 500.00.

  • For home defense I ues a mossberg 500 with 00buck. I picked it up for 150 after taxs and backround fees mabe a lil more its been a long time .. i have naver had anyproblems with it .. Im still looking for a holster for my Kahr pm45.. Anyway if some one has some info on pm45 holsters . like mabe it fits the kahr pm40 holsters or some thing like that.. Any info would be nice i have checked the net over and over agian any have only found 1 good holster! Stay safe fokes.

  • Hey - when are we going to see a review on the Taurus 709?

  • Just shot mine for the first time. Loved it, jammed one time out of 114 rounds (100 FMJ and 14 JHP) Great review. One thing I wish you would have mentioned more in depth in the slide lock. To me there is a difference between a slide lock and a slide release. On the Kel-Tec the slide lock can't be thumb operated. When you load a new clip you have to pull back slightly on the slide to release the lock and chamber the round. A slide release you can just push down with your thumb to load it.

  • How about trigger pull and second strike capability in the k/t and kahr? hammer? striker? I have a p11 but loooong trigger pull.

  • One other option to review is the S&W 340PD....Kel-Tec's are a low quality, price point brand notorious for malfunctions. Nutfancy....you got this one VERY wrong.

  • @cobyson100 How much are the S&W 340s going for in your area? There's only one shop in the town I live in and they have them priced for ~850. I've yet to personally see a Kel tec malfunction (~200rds) and like the price tag.

  • @links0311 They run around $800 in my area and most are special order. I'll I can say is that if you have had no mal's with the Kel-Tec...you're one of the few. I literally destroyed mine and threw them away rather than reselling them because I couldn't sell them to someone else and actually sleep at night. I had one where the slide cracked, the retaining pins popped out and the brass of the ammo peeled back like a grape...the pistol literally fell apart onto the range table...

  • @links0311 $800 of proven reliability...is your wife or kids life worth the $300 you had to spend when your kel-tec malfunctions?

  • @cobyson100 I never said I planned on carrying it, I'm very happy with the Glock 19 I carry, which costs much less than 800 dollars and has "proven reliability". You must not be married or have children, because if you did you would know that not even 800 dollars is worth the life of a family. More money doesn't always equal a better gun, sometimes it's just more money.

  • @links0311 Well, the Glock 19 is a reliable and proven weapon and brand (although overrated and overhyped)and since you want to bring up price...what did you pay for that? I bet more than your Kel-Tec. Proven, more reliable brands, on average, will cost significantly more, on average, than junk like Kel-Tec's which truly are junk. Obviously you don't know much about firearms. Yes, I have a wife and two kids and they are well protected with my 12 gauge Wilson Combat as primary home defense.

  • @cobyson100 I wouldn't say I have a lot of firearm experience, but I did work full time in the firearms field from 2003-2008 before going back to school. I bought the Glock in 2004 with a military discount for 475, so about 120-150 dollars more than the MSRP of the PF9. 12 ga Wilson, man that's awesome (and expensive). I just picked up an 870 and am currently making into a nice tactical gun. I wouldn't use the Kel Tec as a home defense gun, but if you're looking for a daily carry gun, maybe.

  • @links0311 I'd say 5 years in the field is quite a bit. My feeling is the Kel-Tec is the LAST "carry gun" you would want...just too many issues and fixes with Kel-Tecs. YES..it's nice and compact but I would rather see you stick with the Glock or a Sig 229 or even a Bersa Thunder CC in .380 (very nice little pistol). Plenty of "MORE" reliable guns than a KT...go find someone you don't like and sell it to them and get yourself a better pistol.

    Best ..

  • @cobyson100 I just bought mine for summer carry. It's so thin and light don't think I will have trouble carrying it with just shorts and a t-shirt. For winter when I wear heavier shirts and a jacket I'll stick with my XD40 SC, but it feels a little awkward and noticeable in light clothing. I originally bought a Ruger LC9 and it feel apart in about 70 rounds (front sight flew off and then the clip release broke). I took it back to the store and exchange for the PF9. So far so good and $120 less.

  • @jambog82 Good luck.

  • @cobyson100 Iono man...I have a Bersa 380CC and it jams for fails to fire about 4 rounds per mag...It's currently in the mail going back to Bersa for repair...hopefully its not a design flaw.

  • Here's how you have to look at it....Your not going to have a fucking Die Gard gun fight emptying clip after clip. It doesn't matter what caliber or size gun. All of them with do the job in self-defense. Get what makes you happy, I prefer pocket guns because there way harder to be scene. If you have 45. on hip its more risky to be scene by some psycho on a rampage.

  • @bloggmonster but get what has been proven as reliable.......if price is important, get a police baton...it's less expensive than a Kel-Tec and if used appropriately, will deliver everytime.....with a Kel-Tec...even if you do everything right...it's bound to fail at sometime.

  • Why do you say the 15oz keltec with empty mag is the only weight you should be concerned with? Would not the weight with loaded mag be important? One site I saw said 15.5 mag loaded. Another, the ktog site said 15.5. 12.7 + 2.8 loaded mag, although I cannot confirm.

  • @pcstench While the loaded weight is good to know, the manufacturer can't control all the different variables in ammunition, so the empty weight is something consistent. Ammo capacity varies, of course, but then there's bullet weight, powder measure, and even different case material (brass will weigh more than steel and aluminum).

  • I love the format of your video's. I'm use to doing PMI's, your videos are on point and always very informative. Thanks for the reviews and good work.

  • @sunkelmoti sarcasm? lol maybe you haven't driven down my street in a while. :P

I wish I would have watched this before buying my Glock 23. Talk about ironic...

That thing is impossible for me to conceal, with my wardrobe and place of residence.

  • @PocketDrummer I carry the Glock 23 every day in southeast Louisiana without too much problem. I carry in the safariland SOB IWB holster and it's really comfortable and concealable underneath a simple T shirt. The Safariland that I chose has a pretty nifty belt retention system that goes between your pant and belt and then hooks underneath the belt for absolute lock against a draw motion. The retention is adjustable.

    Safariland 27-83, SKU #SL-27-83. 36 bucks.

  • Edit to my post below. They where priced at $274 and $317. Opps

  • @45mini45 Where did ya find it for $274? In oregon?

  • @mikerunie

Gettysburg PA... Budsdotcom had them for 260-270 as well with free shipping to your ffl as-well..

  • Another awesome review! Although I have not bought a PF9, 'YET' I did get a chance to handle on today. I was worried about the size as I have large hands. With the included mag extension I can get a firm grip on the weapon. I almost made the purchase but after buying a new 870 I just could not swing a second purchase. Here in PA at the show I was at they had them in black for $174- and another fellow had the tan priced at $217-

For that kind of money I was impressed.

    Again, thanks !

  • Thanks for the video Nutn. I was considering a pm9 until I saw your review. Just got my pf9 and am very happy with it.

  • Nutnfancy, I am going to be going into a new line of work. I am going to be doing care repo's and am going to have to go all over the state including the deep city Areas. The boss man carries a .44 magnum, he also has a 12 gauge and a 30-30 Winchester Lever action in the trunk. I am going to carry mace, baton, and taser. I am looking to get the P11 as an open carry as concealed is too hard to get. Would you recommend my choices on the matter, can you give me your advise?

  • thanks a milll for the awesome review. i just upgraded from my p11 to the pf9 this morning.....250$ brand new.....yes!!!!!!!!! long live TNP!

  • @Nutnfancy or Veri ......... What holster does Nutnfancy use to conceal his Kel-Tec PF9? I just purchased one and I am having a hard time finding a good, comfortable holster for it ... Thank You.

  • when you shoot, do you close 1 eye down the sights, or do you just look at your target, both eyes open?

  • I have one of these and I love the size. I love the belt clip instead of a holster. I hate the fact that it won't feed anything but blazer or federal. Sent it back to kel-tec and it came back only slightly better, still will not feed WWB or hollow points. Crap.

  • Hey nutin what holster do you use for that thing? I have been looking and not sure what to get. Any info would be great.

  • @daddydubbs Im not Nutnfancy but this is the holster i use for mine. go to haydengunleather

  • Nutnfancy! ur like me left eye dominant right handed! Teach me how to shoot a handgun like that because that's pretty different haha

  • nutnfancy, im looking for a gun for my sister. we live in a very bad neighborhood. Yesterday there was a shooting and an armed robbery. Our price range is about $400. What would you recommend?

  • thanks Nutn!

Just shot in my PF9 today for the first time today. put 100 rounds through. Experienced 100% reliability so far :)

  • I'm looking to buy my wife her first CCW and was looking at the PF-9, was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? I know Glock makes compacts and sub-compacts but she says those are to big for her hands so I'm trying to find what single stacked 9mm or even .40's there are.

  • @fuser662 if she's used to firing handguns, because of the short barrel and lightweight the guns kick pretty high even for a 9mm, so i don't know... a .40 would be pretty nasty she may need to really train with it to make sure that first shot counts....i know i would haha!
