Listening to Ray Conniff/Singers brings 'goosebumps' as I remember having all his albums many years ago......THANKS FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE TO RELIVE THOSE YEARS!
The title in Britain was "Dangerous Moonlight" and starred Anton Walbrook...a wonderful film!!! and brings back many happy memories of my eldest brother Ray who introduced me to classical music...this was one of his favourites and became mine too...Thank you everyone for sharing such happy memories of times gone by...God Bless you Al!
ALFABE..if you write in ENGLISH perhaps I can help you. After all this is an American site. If it was an Italian site it would be in...ITALIAN.
Addinsell wrote this song for a movie in the War Years of the Forties. I think it was about Polish airmen who flew for the English Air Force during the War..during its most intense time in the Air War over England. The title escapes me now. I will look it up and try to update.
..An excellent video. I bought this music in the early Sixties and played it until it melted. I will get CD's soon. Ray Conniff did the best arrangements of great music...not like the trash of today.
