  • Can't believe they laid into Jim like that.

  • I think FNM after The Real Thing was genius.

  • indies è stato il programma di music apiù figo in ITALIA! ora col cazzo che ci sono progrmmi così!!!

  • its not a great interview mika patton is answering the same question since 1993 and the host was opening the topic again

  • Faith no More is no more and was never any more, without Jim.

Enter the ego's, exit the art and creativity. Musicians and their inflated sense of their selves, it always ruins them. Faith no More was never the band it used to be with Jim in it. That's a fact.

  • @lateralus411 Are you Jim's mom? True, they had a much different sound and direction after Jim left, but I personally really like both KFAD and AOTY. Jim gave the band a unique sound, but after AD it was time to move on to something else and I'm glad they did.

  • great, thx!

  • I have to agree with you folks. It's a good interview!

  • Great interview!! :D

  • Uhmm wtf is with this crap about jim? I am NOT a fan girl and even i know that Mike Patton is what made this band what they are today or even in the 1990's!! and i could find hundreds of thousands of people that would agree. why dont we just go to our rooms and listen to whatever WE want to listen to?

  • roddy is so calm.he is the equilibrium, i think.FNM are the best!!!

  • that was a great and honest interview

  • what up with the jim bashing? got some other questions or what?

  • look at the little bitches on this page. you say one thing supporting a member of fnm other that mp, and you get 8 thumbs down.. lol.

    tragic fanboy pussies...

  • I think you're the tragic fanboy here. How they smear him exactly? They told he never wrote with them and didn't share personal chemistry. Don't see much to expand on that. Can you blame them? And I'd hate to break your lil' bubble of being the victim here, but I think people gave you thumbs down coz you're full of shit - not becouse you didn't praise patton.

  • Yeah yet a lot of other members did write and contribute to the band as well, I never claimed opposite and there's a lot of fans that think the same. And noting that some fans lick Pattons asshole doesn't over rule any of my statements. And you clearly have problems dude - other than being an idiot. Citing a fictional movie as a source hardly counts, but I guess separating a fantazy from a reality is hard for your feeble caveman brain.

  • and keep your mouth in check meathead, coz you're not making much of an effort to prove me wrong by spouting out vulgarities like "fuck you". Aren't you a tough little bitch yourself? And saying that the essence of FNM was Jim Martin showing of his guitar skills is an overstatement at best. Can you blame the other guys for kicking him out of the band? If everyone else wanted to change direction, and he didn't? He didn't write or show to practise, what would you do?

  • aslo what I originally replied at was your comment:"look at the little bitches on this page. you say one thing supporting a member of fnm other that mp, and you get 8 thumbs down.. lol." ...it's funny that most people who replied to your comment noted that Roddy was an important member to them. By simple logic we could derive it's you who has problems with someone liking a member other than Jim or you're not having the ability to actually read and understand words.

  • you're an idiot.

  • a very anal idiot that is getting blocked... now!

  • this interview is like a 'bash jim free for all'

  • they had to break up at ome point. as brilliant as they always were - theyve been around too long

  • Faith No More's most creative and inspiring records were made without any input from Jim (Angel Dust/King For A Day)

  • jim co-wrote about 3 tracks on Angel Dust

  • which ones?

  • kindergarten, jizzlobber and i'm pretty sure he helped with caffeine too.

  • I think that the fact that Roddy had little or no input since angel dust was the reason why the music was never as good.

  • Actually it was the absence of Roddy that made the music less interesting. he was missing for virtually all of KFAD and a good part of AOTY.

  • are you kidding? KFAD was their best record by far!

  • i miss jim now faiths all soft not funky

  • Very good interview, yes.

  • good interview

  • What a voice!!!!!!!!!!! <3<3

  • more!more!more! please :D
