@187Premises i don't know for a fact, but judging from what he's wearing and how he's riding i would say he isn't. if you have some undeniable proof that he is, feel free to share it with us.
@blackninja600r Like I said in a prev comment he had a radio attached to the front of his hi-vis. Asking me to provide extra proof on a 1.5 year old video sounds a bit silly. I don't understand why such a trivial detail like "was he a courier" is so important. It just sounds to me like some motorcycle couriers are getting uptight by this video. Are couriers supposed to be the very best in traffic? Because in London we have plenty of L-plate couriers who don't even have full bike licence.
@187Premises to be honest mate, it's not about him being a courier, more you are making a big deal of leaving behind a guy on a big heavy bike, when you are on a light punchy nimble machine, it's no great feat. slag off the car drivers and dozy pedestrians who walk out in the street without looking, but no need to have a go at a fellow bike rider just because he was there.
@blackninja600r I feel a good point was made. Too many people brag about getting the biggest or the fastest bikes which is great... when your on a track or motorway! The litre GSF's are frequently seen on drag strips. This just shows how a little 400 can be more faster and more practical at other things. Both me and this rider were pulling away from the lights very quickly, so he wasn't just innocently riding as you are playing it down to be. He would of just held me up on certain traffic gaps.
@187Premises i agree, that was the point i was trying to make, that you really should be getting away from this guy in town, your bike is much nimbler. that's the joy of a lightweight punchy little machine, they are great fun, especially round town. just don't need to make him out as being crap because of it. do that to the car drivers, not that they need any help looking stupid!

@187Premises toe to toe with you lol i wouldnt go face to face with any one from your country till you fucks start brushing your teeth... and btw your bike is crap
That wasn't a radio strap on yer man, it was a high vis strap. A real courier on a good bike would have beat you past the polo.
Good point about the braking in traffic- as it happens, his handlebar was impeded by the tank bag that the camera was mounted on. Normally he would have made that gap in one move.
I'll check out your more recent work and get back to you.
@Gurriers I wasn't talking about the high-vis strap, I was talking about a radio I could physically see on him when I was there with him at the time. He was clearly courier on a bike more than double my horsepower and he was beaten... end of story on that.
Just so you know I have no intention of promoting your music with my videos either. You stick with your couriers and I'll do what my fans like best. If I were a courier I would do well, but I get paid too well in my current employment. :D
That wasn't a courier. Do yourself a favour and don't try to mix it with full time professionals. Keep making the vids though, they're entertaining, despite the terrible music.
Check out the Gurriers promos for an insight into the world of couriers, in particular the one with music by De Shaper- proper on board music that was written for the footage.
@Gurriers How do you know he wasn't a courier? He did have a radio strapped to his chest. This video is a year and a half old, my work on YouTube has changed much since then. The viewing figures for my channel show that what I am doing is working very well! So... no need for change.
PS: That courier in the Sharper video needs to work on his filtering. Grabbing a load of front brake while manoeuvring around a car is not cool!
@Gurriers what kind of rider put hivis stripes on his bike, wears a hivis belt only to ride dangerously? Clearly that is a courier. With that big topbox too you would be stupid to say it wasnt. That courier got smoked! Good job once again Mr P187!

Ok so ur tellin me that sport bike couldnt keep up with that speed :D in that traffic :D clearly u have never drove one or just dont know how to, cos if u think really with u r brain u realize that sport bike is much thinner than smoto
@roossi not true. Perhaps you need to learn how engine configurations effect the width of a bike. How can a motorcycle with a inline4 engine can be thinner than a single cylinder? I agree the sumo has wider handlebars, but them sail over most cars because sumos are tall. If you watch my latest video where I take a FZ6 (based on the R6) you will see some parts where I would take some gaps quicker on the sumo.
@187Premises Well I have owned drz 400 and I own now suzuki gsxr 1000 and I prefer gsxr, but its my opinion, and it might be that I live in finnland and heres not much people so I really dont know how it is in big rush hour :D
wow you're not going to last long. all riders, no matter what they're on share the same risks from cagers. you're a douche and what most of us call an organ-donor. enjoy the ride while it lasts or get some common sense. some of us ride traffic daily, it's a risk and you're not making it any better for the rest of us. wave thanks to the cagers that see you and move over, move around the ones that dont and lose the chip that's so heavily weighing on your shoulder.
ahaaaaaaa wow the courier came out nowher wen he cut u offf wtf niiiiiiiice super agility mode: ON like a game haaaaa i thought u were goign to weave in n out of traffic i was already doing it as if i was riding it niiiiiiiiice wtf crazzzy gonnna see more
Love your videos but this guy hands you your ass! LOL, He truly out rode you in every way on a fat pig of a bike. You should be ashamed and take this one down! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! love you man!
@187Premises Like I said, I love your vids, but this guy clearly matches you move for move and comes out on top until he possibly decided it was too dangerous to ride near you and backed off. Also most of the things he did were legal and on the correct side of the road where you resorted to riding in a way that put others at risk for what? beat a bike messenger to his delivery? You confused a man who is working on a tight schedule for a guy out to challenge you. nuff said, cheers!
@BusaFalconer You call that close undertake at 1:12 legal? That's quite laughable. Go and do that to a police car here and see how far you get. My actions never caused any other road user to swerve or brake. However his actions made my brake as he swerves into my path.
If you think anything in the vid could bring the cops knocking I wouldnt submit it, I take it use of bus lanes is legal where you are, I not sure the overtakes on zigzags my draw the attention of the bobbies.
@2wheelsteve Bus lanes are fine. I do admit the zigzag was dubious. The thing I noticed about the guys who got nabbed by the feds is that they displayed their number plate in the videos. Not saying it's not possible to track me, but would they waste their time on such minor offence that a normal patrol car would normally turn a blind eye to anyway?
You were the bad rider. He out accelearated you from teh lights, and then he swerved arond teh car- gving you lots of room if you were close. You then zoomed forward trying to cut him off, and not leaving him any room from the red car on the left hand side. You then passed him in the same lane - a clear no no for bikes who are entitled to to use up their entire lane for emergency braking etc.
Then you passed two cars on a solid line. You acted like a right tosser in fact.
Also I cant help to notice when I undertake someone in a safe fashion dicks like you are fast to comment. When I get undertaken (like here) nothing is mentioned.
@187Premises Your camera doen't show what he was doing to the side. BUT the way that I see it: You both filtered through thr trafic, and both accelerated from the lights to be first at the bottleneck. He won (which is expected in any acceleration contest between a 1250 sportsbike and a DRZ400. He eased in front of you at the bottleneck.
@Badassbok You call that a bottleneck? You're obviously trying your best to defend him. The reality is that his whole left lane was closed! Only the right hand lane (my lane) was open. In other words he is entered my lane without taking any measures. I would like to further entertain your strange logic but I have better things to do.
@187Premises Also, once teh order is settled, there is unwritten law that a biker only passes a biker very carefully, and not in the same lane. Because another biker could also be thnking of passing or filtering. And you NEVER pass him in his own lane unless he has moved obver and waved you through!
You cannot treat other bikes like cars - because they can match (and in this case beat) you accelreation wise, and could be intending to do the same thing as you. Shocking riding by you.
@Badassbok I'm not at all trying to defend my riding as being lawful because there are clearly some naughties here. The facts remain at 1:07 I pull away quicker than he can react to the lights changing. He doesn't like it so he takes a risk of literally cutting in front of me in my lane with his acceleration. Then as I try to pass him and he tries to cage me. After that I totally spank him showing that skill & agility can beat raw speed & acceleration in the given circumstances. End of convo.
@187Premises just checked, actually, according to DfT it is an offence and carries a £60 penalty and three points on your driving licence (maximum £1,000 fine if it goes to court) :)
@StupidlyRandom I've never heard of anyone actually getting fined or points. I've been in the ASL with motorcycle cops too.a few times.
I feel a lot more safe in the box because anywhere else leaves you very exposed to cars. Can you find me accident stats for collisions involving motorcycles vs cyclist in the box? I know you wont find any! Probably why the police see it as a petty offence and wont enforce it against motorcyclists. Of course if there is no room left in the box I'd move ahead.
I don't think you need to be a rider to be able to spot bad riding, you were calling him a moron and you nearly got hit squeezing through 2 cars, explain how that is good road use?
about the argument here : i dunno, ive got no idea about what london traffic is like, but i must also say that i can understand why somebody would comment about your driving style. if traffic is rolling there is no need to overtake at the right is there ? i dunno, maybe everyone is riding like that in london, i am more defensive i guess. also going to the front at red lights, is it legal ? i have one more question using the bus lane with motor bikes is legal in the UK ? thanks for the vids
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Watched a few of your vids after being pointed to them on a forum i i use.
I agree with the lads on there in that you're agressive, have poor perception of danger and behave like a prat. Taking on a courier, who's trying to get his job done and who frankly was just getting through the traffic... then making a big-up yourself bid about it?
I cant please everyone, but I please most. With 300+ subscribers and being top10 featured for a few times for the car&vehicles videos, I know I'm doing something right.
Perhaps I do see the most of the dangers and I am ready for them (hence why I never crash). I really dont mind keeping drivers on their toes. Hopefully they will learn from it and wont end up killing someone else.
Also for the record I couldn't give a damn what a bunch of internet guys on a bike forum speculate.
@187Premises Too bad you can't stick to the law and beat the other guy fair and sq by using your brains, i would have been impressed with that, but any fool can illegally wait in the cycle only green cage thing at lights and then go on to over take traffic in the zig zag line zone at the pedistrian crossing, brains over brawn young man that's the key!!" not this cheating shit, by the way wear a hi viz vest or something, it's no wonder people can't see you with dark gay leather on.
all this talk about advanced stop lines, just to update you... the law states the last stop line is the one you have to stop behind, and if any part of your vehicle crosses it then the offence has been commited. Not the first one, so please find out the facts first, oh and in london, this is an easy days ride... keep up the good work and be safe.... ;-)

Well if I and others have noticed it then it isn't worn down.
I'm not sure why you go on about being less qualified when I've said I don't have a motorcycle licence, I have however cycled since I was 5 and on the roads since I was 12 and I'm pretty sure I could spot danger quicker than you.
From when it's a large amount of my viewers complaining about my riding is when I would perhaps consider adjusting my riding. For now it's odd one or two negative comments.
Did you spot the danger for a motorcyclist queuing behind traffic?
An accidental rear shunt from a car to a MC is often life threatening. Sitting behind an idle cars exhaust pipe is health damaging.
I will alway position myself infront of the idle front car. Afterall it's my saftey first.
I see a comment about lane splitting. Most don't know that lane splitting is legal in California. I live here in CA and love lane splitting. I've grown up on the east coast and moved here recently. It's the only state that permits it. The west coast is the best coast.
Ignorance isn't a excuse. It's still illegal for you to enter one whether there was a cyclist there or not.
I don't ride a motorcycle and have little interest in doing so but i've cycled and driven long enough to keep myself and other road users safe unlike you.
You seem quite touchy about your riding style, perhaps you do need to adjust it.
@187Premises I don't mind lane splitting while the cars are moving being illegal since we don't have nearly as bad of traffic as you do, but i don't see why filtering to the front of a stoplight is illegal.
@187Premises lane splitting on cali freeways makes you feel like god. like literaly rush hour is like a parking lot on the freeways here in southern cali
I don't think that he had any idea that the two of you were 'racing'...

I see you think you're a bicycle and can use the advance stop line at lights. Potentially a fixed penalty notice if you're caught, btw.
StupidlyRandom 1 year ago
@StupidlyRandom So no points? Only a fine? That's cool because I have lots of monies!
187Premises 1 year ago
@187Premises just checked, actually, according to DfT it is an offence and carries a £60 penalty and three points on your driving licence (maximum £1,000 fine if it goes to court) :)
StupidlyRandom 1 year ago

TheFanchthang 1 year ago
@TheFanchthang I never nearly got hit, there was plenty of space when I passed the two cars! Supermotos are very narrow bikes.

about the argument here : i dunno, ive got no idea about what london traffic is like, but i must also say that i can understand why somebody would comment about your driving style. if traffic is rolling there is no need to overtake at the right is there ? i dunno, maybe everyone is riding like that in london, i am more defensive i guess. also going to the front at red lights, is it legal ? i have one more question using the bus lane with motor bikes is legal in the UK ? thanks for the vids

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Watched a few of your vids after being pointed to them on a forum i i use.
I agree with the lads on there in that you're agressive, have poor perception of danger and behave like a prat. Taking on a courier, who's trying to get his job done and who frankly was just getting through the traffic... then making a big-up yourself bid about it?
Piss poor really mate, you're no biker

Not the first one, so please find out the facts first, oh and in london, this is an easy days ride... keep up the good work and be safe.... ;-)

Well said. I'm very polite & courteous to cyclists on the road. YouTube is slowly changing my view towards them.

As for tips and advice, just disable comments if you don't want your riding critcized, as it seems you can't handle any constructive criticism.

Well if I and others have noticed it then it isn't worn down.
I'm not sure why you go on about being less qualified when I've said I don't have a motorcycle licence, I have however cycled since I was 5 and on the roads since I was 12 and I'm pretty sure I could spot danger quicker than you.
Testedecazzo 1 year ago
@Testedecazzo

The west coast is the best coast.
nickgnaime 1 year ago
Try looking at your riding and your use of asl's illegally.
Testedecazzo 1 year ago
@Testedecazzo
The video shows the ASL was obscured by the front of a van, so I never knew. There wasn't any cyclists in it either! No one was endangered.
Are you a police man? Are you going to fine me? I thought not, so shut your hole!
Also I completed my MOD1 & MOD2 motorcycle test and road safety course which is most probably more than you've ever done.
187Premises 1 year ago
Ignorance isn't a excuse. It's still illegal for you to enter one whether there was a cyclist there or not.
I don't ride a motorcycle and have little interest in doing so but i've cycled and driven long enough to keep myself and other road users safe unlike you.
You seem quite touchy about your riding style, perhaps you do need to adjust it.
Testedecazzo 1 year ago
@Testedecazzo
Since your making the accusations can you provide proof that shows that that 'supposed' ASL was even marked correctly?
Theres a lot of ASL's have been worn down around my way. If something isn't marked clearly enough then you can't get a fine or points for it.
I can look after myself but if you can point out when I endangered 'another' road user, let me know about it.
When I feel I need riding tips from someone who's less qualified than myself, I'll give you a call.

JakesToons 1 year ago 2
@JakesToons
Aparantly some states allow it. It is legal in Cali.
I really wouldn't wanna live anywhere that wont allow splitting. Sitting behind a car exhaust is bad for your health.
Some argue that splitting is dangerous? I've had many near misses in my time and non have ever happened when I was splitting.
187Premises 1 year ago
@187Premises I don't mind lane splitting while the cars are moving being illegal since we don't have nearly as bad of traffic as you do, but i don't see why filtering to the front of a stoplight is illegal.
