it helps in citys big time... the ambulance can only go so fast with a patient onboard plus CPR inprogress. an escort car can go alot faster and get to an intercection before the ambulance to bust and hold traffic.

Its just a regular sony camera I beleive. It has an SD card I stick in the computer when I am done. I bought a mount off ebay for it.
