@TheSublimeAudio I agree. I'm sure it will happen eventually, you could make an entire gigantic electronic drum kit out of anything lying around lol. Wow, the possibilities...
The sensor attachment and the possibilities it presents makes it worth the price of admission all by itself. However I can already see it would nice to be able to attach two sensors rather than just one. It would also be good if there was an option to split the pad for two different sounds. Korg is on fire lately!
I've been able to order this product this evening for £259 in the UK. It's just become available and I'm looking forward to creating a review of it on my Youtube channel.
@heartkiller93 the sensor clip isn't just a trigger, it also feeds the audio signal of the piezo into the wavedrum and adds (resonating) effects to it. no magic there, it just works in a different way and is actually quite lo-fi, but still nicely done.
The new line of Korg electronic music products is leaving Roland and Yamaha in the dust. The Wavedrum is sick, the Monotribe is sick, the M-01 for the NDS is sick. Hats off to this innovative organization.
Need to give those trainer a quick clean mate.
