  • What magnanimous thing to do by Laliberté, especially with the speech:"I know it's a lot of money to you" and then gives away almost (a theoretical) 400k

  • what a gent

  • The commentator said David lost only 47,000 in the pot, but at 5:48 in the top left corner it says the pot is at $238,900.. So which one is it?

  • Comment removed

  • David had to swallow his pride.

And it looked like he was choking

  • And change?

    That's 22,900 fucking rich fucks

  • if i met that Guy Laliberte in an alley i would rob the shit out of him and i dont think hed care tbh

  • Guy's net worth is over 2.5 billion 0.0

  • lol@ benyamine touching patrik antonius's forhead at the end.

  • I like this Guy person. I wish I had the money to play with the pro's and make this kind of deal with them =)

  • Guy is the very Big Person. My respect to this men!

  • I think all this talking and bargaining afterwards is stupid, shall we run it once, twice, you have this and i'll have that. Its hardly poker. You accept when you call these big raises and go all in that you either do are dont have the best hand, or if you're up against a draw then you could be sucked out. If you dont want to play then dont put all your money in the middle in the first place, once you do, just accept what happens. If you cant afford to lose, dont play high stakes.

  • @freddii89 when the stakes are this high... they should be able to bargain, wheel and deal, and do whatever the hell they please. those two gentlemen had over one million dollars in cash sitting in that pot over a single hand of cards. that kind of bargaining and deal making is just part of that level of poker... just enjoy it.

  • @getduloh Im just saying that if they feel uncomfortable about how much money they put in then they shouldnt be playing such high stakes in the first place. Whats the point in sitting there with half a mil, putting it all in the middle, flipping the cards over and then deciding to take it all back out, its pointless. Surely they should just accept the fact that before they go all in they might have the worst hand and lose, if they cant afford to lose, play lower stakes.

  • @freddii89 i know what you mean, they gotta be ready to lose... but in that spot 2pair vs a flush draw, they both get all-in with two carsd to come... they just figured lets take luck out of the equation now and just make a deal. i think its still pretty cool to watch.

  • @freddii89 I agree with you for the most part but guys like you and me definitely don't know what it feels like to have that much money in the pot. David shouldn't be risking all that money if it represents so much of his bank roll. You really shouldn't have more than 10% of your money on the table at anytime. High stakes are different but good rules to stick by.

  • @Hybridnight Because this is a cash game, just them on the one table, buying in and playing with their own money. WSOP is a tournament, where all players buy in the same amount of money which goes to the final prize pool, then they all recieve the same amount of chips to play with in the tournament.

  • scared money dont make money

  • Benyamine move was sooo stupid, he didn't deserve this nice treatment. WTF do u think your fold equity (that is the only reason to make such a move) will be against a multimillionaire?? Guy's reraise meant AT THE VERY LEAST ak, and even with this hand (that, once again, is the very bottom of his range in this spot) he would have called, since half a million is simply nothing for Laliberte. Sometimes I really don't get how some of these guys can be high stakes successful pros.

  • @JacopoBR Plus, WTF are you semibluffing all in in a HUGE pot if you shit in your pants like a baby?? Not only the move was stupid technically speaking, but it was also a move he couldn't afford to do, really nosense.

  • @JacopoBR he was obv puttin' laliberte on a smaller flush draw to make that shove. yeah it was a misread-mistake but it happens in pkr all the time. u would b really grateful like no tomorrow if u were in his shoes and laliberte made u that offer and your "LIFE" was pretty much on the line.

  • see.. poker doesn't have to be cut throat. it involves a lot of sportsmanship

  • Pretty bad all in with just the A high flush.

  • @laistar higher the stakes, higher the gamble reguardless of good or bad play

  • turn???? river????

  • Turning over your cards to see your opponent's reaction before making the call is some pretty ugly angleshooting.

  • I think this is bullshit! I know its a lot of money, but this is High Stakes poker and they should´nt be allowed to make those kind of choices because they´re scared to0 lose it. Run it 2, 3,4, 5 times, but run it!

  • damn these guys really DO put their live savings on the poker table

  • would of loved to see the other 2 cards!

  • guy reminds me of forest gump

  • guy would have won the pot 4 of diamonds on turn and 7 of diamonds on river

  • For David, this was one of the most important days of his life. For Guy, it was Wednesday.

  • @ABlackbirdOnline I didnt get it until i looked into Guy Laliberté.. geezuss!

  • @ABlackbirdOnline

LOL that made me chuckle ^_^

  • @zombiekid16 i'm glad! :)

  • lol i would like to play with guy, ahah if i lose my money i be like can i have my money back?? ahah

  • Two french men, one was gonna cry. Unlike other Roman descendants, the French are like the Italians but more effeminate. Cry Babies.

  • @lafkdjay Except Laliberté is not a frenchman.........idiot.

  • 05:16 I love Sammy, that made me lol.

  • I can't feel bad for Benyamine. If you want to earn your keep by gambling, you have to take the bad with the good. If you can't, then perhaps you shouldn't play poker as a professional.

  • Doyle said it best, and Gee was awesome.

Of course, poker's change a bit now hasn't it. Its not old pros and billionaires, its two kids, one from Europe one from Canada. They will run it twice, shake hands, and catch a chartered jet.

  • it seems like david benyamine is the little poor guy at the table and he looks like a scared child when theyre deciding on how they want to run the hand, i feel so sorry for him

  • @jellycar101 david had some money problems back then.

  • @jellycar101 yeah, he was going to lose only about 600k no biggie. For some people that's their retirement fund.

  • "Sammy's gonna bet, he's got a bicycle at a nascar race here"

  • @jellycar101 Definitely one of Kaplan's better jokes :D
