  • @ApoalsoxD What are you talking about? The Cranberries singer can't sing for shit. This version is much better.

  • @Canteenboy117 You fail at having an opinion.

  • @Canteenboy117 Who are you kiddin?.." boy " watch your mouth When it comes to talking music you dont.. know...The Cranberries...and I bet she can sing better than you...this is a good verison.. thow..Her pitches are nearly cant be mocked...I give the band my thumbs up...This is a easy sogn to play..But not to sing....GJ Miser

  • @anonymous9967 I hadn't realized he was the first to say it, for I do not listen to MCR that much... and I think thats a bit to much trouble to go through every time I want to say that. -_-

  • the best zombie's cover ever is breed 77's one!!!

  • Not the original, but as my age.. i totally feel this... they did an excellent job! Im versitiale as a mofo... i give 5/5 stars. figurin the difference in generation, I totally feel this one

  • yeah the lead singer is the sophomore history teacher for my school

  • The Lead singer is the substitute teacher for my History class right now.

  • @Whynotproductions07 that is awesome. lol, tell him to sub in cfb in irving next time

  • BEST cover i have EVER seen of ANY song!!!!!!!

  • these guys wer my neighbors back in texas

  • Great Song... Great Cover... Great Band.... Great Home town hahaha

  • i know mo the drummer he is my uncles friend and i stayed at his house when hurricane ike hit

  • This is a great cover, im into it. Excellent!

  • this version is so much better then the cranberries no offense to them

  • @zoomxcorexx i like the cranberries, but these guys are a small time band and i believe that this version very well done. You can't really compare covers to the original unless they use the same range of notes, because if they don't the cover is like it's own song just with the same lyrics and basis.

  • troubles????? only troubles irish have had is their drinking

  • @THEjackel4545 Go read a history book.

  • @THEjackel4545 i lul'd

  • A better version if u ask me.

  • @ ilovegrapesss I agree that the probably could not give the emotions that it needs BUT it is kind of like how people care so much about WW2 and had no part of it. I do have to say out of all covers this is the best one. Most people do have Irish decent so I will have to say there is a large possibility that they know.

Don't just a band's cover by they're decent or knowledge but how they preform the music.

  • sounds awesome !!!

  • i send it to the goverment

  • what nothin compare to the cranberries

    but good song overall

  • its almost as good

  • it's a good cover, but I'd expect it to be a bit more angry. We'd tend to associate anger with the male and lament with the female, which is what i feel the feminine version of Zombie sounds like. The song IS about the violence in Ireland, let's not forget that.

  • Great post.

  • @TheWtfkitty If you want to hear a cover that does fit that bill quite nicely look up the breed 77 cover of the zombie. Feels very angry and is a really good cover imho, although i like this cover as well.

  • @TheWtfkitty This song is about violence regardless of its location. How we vicariously live through the media, not know what we're watching, is actually happening

  • @SweetwaterBoating

Tis about Eire and IRA mostly. Forget it not.

  • @TheWtfkitty Yes, but if you were angry you'd be caught up in the war, not being upset about the outcome. A man is not a man if he does not cry - he is a machine.

  • @TheWtfkitty

I like what you're saying Kitty, but by that logic, should this male version not be a lament? And if it were just that, a mournful almost eulogy, do you think it could again be just as powerful? (If one can really imagine such a rendition)

  • @TheWtfkitty good break down you artist you

  • @TheWtfkitty I agree... and lets just say...The Cranberries.. let everything out...and didnt hold back one bit I still get chill pumps listen to there verison..and somewhat this one..But I also love this verison to...

  • @TheWtfkitty There is violence all over...But we're human..Well maybe..they didnt want to attend to over anger The Cranberries... verison..Im sorry..There is no voice.. to over control...anger even her voice. If you find someone let me know.

  • @TheWtfkitty ok i know the fact that england was bad towards ireland but what happened i know they took northern ireland and taxed the hell out of the irish but what stopped them from driving england out

  • @rvbsmcaboose maybe the fact that the English were one of the most powerful nations in the world. And Ireland was in the middle of a civil war. The English along with the protestant followers went to a Irish football game and started gunning down IRA followers and football players. This was known as Bloody Sunday. The english were right good snobby bastards as usual and couldn't handle it when a country wanted to become independent. Typical, and the claim to be the good guys?

  • such good song =)

  • 6397777451!!!

  • 54744444444444????

  • this is much better than the original.

  • @9roog7 It's a good cover, i'll give it that. But nothing can compare to the original, The Cranberries version is 100 times better because this version doesn't convey the emotion this song diserves, the band are clearly not Irish and I doubt they have any connection to the troubles so they just don't do this song justice, they made it sound like any other song and it's not, it's so much more than that. But then maybe I'm just being Bias., you can decide but I'm sticking with the Cranberries.

  • FUCK YOU, BITCH!!!!

  • @ilovegrapesss

They may not be Irish, but.. maybe they're of Irish decent? A lot of us still feel our roots, you know?

  • this version sounds a like from the original. only its a bit heavier. which i like. miser seems to have a lot of emotion when singing this song. breed 77 also has a version on this song. that song is way different. really heavy

  • i love this verson!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's better than the orginal

  • i agree

  • Bad ass version of this song...

  • damn....

the shortless guy is my history teacher. not even kidding!

  • true dat.

  • really cool guy!

  • mr. Rohloff yuhhh!!!

  • yea....

next week will be his last week with us.

    :'(

  • @pedriskitiski90 :O Lucky~

  • @pedriskitiski90 haha really??

  • @pedriskitiski90 I wish I had a teacher like that :P

  • @Sagy teacher?.. huh?

  • Excellent cover!!

  • anyone notice how he sings it almost exactly like the lead singer from the 'berries, only lower?

  • 'berries lol, yeah, but i love moew this version! this hella rocks

  • She intentionally cracks her voice at the end of most every note in that song. He only does it during the chorus. But you're right. It's actually pretty neat.

  • amaaaaazing cover, im sure the 'berries are proud

  • I love my boys of Miser. Everyone should come check out their show at Trees in Dallas on Saturday Septer 26. Look for the Miser Crew for any information!

  • you spelled know wrong loser

  • i hate covers...

But this one is good. there are few covers that i like even remotely, and this one is one of them.

  • The lead singer now is a student teacher for history class in my high school in dallas texas..

    hes awsome

  • griffin is that u

  • Comment removed

  • awsome song

  • i hate it when people do shitty covers... but this one is pretty fucking good i like it...

  • they are from dallas texas yaaaaaa

  • or irish

  • wat nationality r they???.... cuz at 2:49 wen he says are, he sounds kinda scottish

  • Wow this is actually a good cover.

    Thanks for posting.

  • great song :)

  • i didnt even know this was a cover til a few weeks ago

  • Agreed. i like both songs. They are each great in their own ways. ;)

  • i like the craberryies but this is a epic cover better thn most

  • no.. cityslicker202, that is wrong. If he was singing with an irish accent, in the traditional irish way of singing, along with his rock style voice, than yes, it would be harder. But because he has no irish accent and he doesn't end some of the words with a yodel like Dolores does(ending words with a yodel is traditional in irish singing) it isn't harder, in any case it is easier.

  • BadassRaiden I don't think cityslicker202 was referring to the actual difficulty in singing the song but rather the overall feel of the song to the listener.

  • Badass cover

  • Take this version and harmonize The Cranberries' singer with this..and this song would be about..end of the world times more awesome.

  • fucking gorgeous

  • i know the drummer mo he is my uncle's best friend

  • i like the original better,

but this is still awesome, onsidering covers are usually not that good.

  • this is really cool... but I like the Original one, I love her voice... anyway, this is amazing... he has a great voice... =3

  • Great cover!!!

  • i love this song

  • I like this one better cause its harder his voice is more rock the whole thing is has more idk strength to it.

  • I never got into The Cranberries...but when I heard this cover and I knew right away that I liked this better. He's got a cleaner voice. The only thing I hate is that stupid out breath thing they both do at the end of the chorus. (annoying)...

  • i thought there was a solo

  • This cover is much better then the original, he has a clean voice not scratchy

  • I'll agree this cover is badass, but not nowhere near being better than the original. It's one of those things that no matter how amazing a cover is, it will never be better than the original. But this cover does this song justice!!! LOVE IT!!
