zarful71, you're right - they aren't plied! I yu wanted to ply it. you could ply it with thread (or I sometimes use my hemp laceweight), to keep the crazy texture.

What kind of wheel do you have? I was thinking of Ashford's Country wheel. It says it has a large orofice & s=bobbin.
