Do you have stock front fork springs or progressives? It looks like you really have your front suspension adjusters set stiff - nice riding. I almost hate redlining my '96, there's so much acceleration on tap from 7000-9000 rpms, but I've never had it on the track :^(
vfr,s are awasome for sure i love my 97 vfr750 4thgen they can still get the job done i have people say you cant wheelie the vfr,s without the clutch but u can and in 2nd gear
Great sound and great riding. I have fitted a 180 rear and think it has slowed the steering so may drop the forks as you have to try and speed it up again before I swap back to a 170 on the back.
@dimgwalltameiben hi, just learnt how to walk again, now i want to learn to run. does lowering forks improve handling when normal riding, ie going to and from work etc. and are there any other adjustments i could make ? cheers, kenny

@Crisisbiker I use a 160 rear on mine.

@SVbadguy I think my next rear tire is going to be a 160. My 4th gen don't turn like that.
Amazing

Proof, (if any was needed) of what the old vfr is capable of in the hands of a skilled rider.

It always amazes me how bikes hold grip accelerating out of corners. i just don't have the confidence to even try...

almost like RVF ;)

It looks like a 4th gen VFR ('94-'97) by how the instrument cluster looks.

I see you've dropped the forks 3/4" lower, clever lad makes huge difference. Defo the best bike at the cheap end of the market!

That is pure music!
Sounds a lot like my VF700, except mine has the 360 crank instead of the 180 in this.
In other words, it sounds more like a boat motor than a small-block, but she's still cool.
Excellent shifting too! I never use the clutch when I really get on it, waste of time!
