@fatte5007 He's only an 8 year veteran. I'm sure he still runs well within a 4.4 range. And you don't need speed to be considered a great safety either. So I don't know what being slow has to do with being a better safety. The best coverage safety is Reed, the best coverage DB as you stated it is Asomugha or Revis.
Collins and Polumalu are washed out man Sharper is better than them any day..and Wilson is more of a run stopping safety every one knows he cant even cover a tight-end

Just a little trivia fact (I went to college w/Darren): On that team at the College of William and Mary; Darren was starting FS, Sean McDermott (current Eagles Def Coord.) was starting SS, Mike Tomlin (Steelers Head Coach) was starting WR, Running backs were coached by Alan Williams (current Colts DB coach), 1 of our CB's (Ron Harrison) was drafted by Jaguars (but was cut) and starting LB Jude Waddy played and started for Packers in late 90's. Not unusual for a large school but certainly 4 us.

He was good there before they changed his role. My point in the vid was meaning many people thought he was just old and slow. I'm glad I'm wrong though.
