I 100% agree. What was good with Max, was the emotional involvement in their dancing. Ricarrdo & Yulia are just COLD and look disconnected. It was like this when they got together. I thought they would improve it trough time, but it doesn't change and I think people started to take bring this up after Blackpool 2009.

P.S. Dear Shirley Ballas , please ask him to feel. Is he cold to you as well or you just don't let him? -)))

i dont kno...yulia and max were great, they had someof the most creative routines, but i have to say that max was more of a showman. his technique was fantastic, but weaker than yulia's. with ricarrdo, she has a partner who matches her abilities.

I completely and totally agree. Personally I never thought Yulia was that good with max. Especially given how long they've been together. Yulia's the show at any rate. I just think Riccardo is better suited for and handles her better and they look more like belong, there's something going on both their courts. Not so when Max is dancing.

Oh PS: Actually I think (my opinion) that one of the most arogant (and one of the best, admittedly) dancers is Michael Westink. When he dances he draws all the attention to himself seemingly disregarding his partner, despite him and Beata's past closeness. He's excellent mind you, but he far exceeds Ricarrdo's attention-getting endeavors (if I were to compare the two). Just an observation. What do you think, personally, in terms of those two comparisons in that regard?

Really? Hmmmm...... whenever I see Wentink dancing with Beata, all my attention goes to Beata. Maybe Bryan is the one who gets all the attention when it comes to.

No actually I'm not joking. I realize I'm in the minority because of Yulia and Max's history, that gives time as well for chemistry to develop. It's just my opnion. Max seemed to have a harder time moving with her, just an observation. But maybe I need to watch her and Max more, I admit.

Does anyone prefer Yulia's dancing with Ricarrdo, as opposed to Max. I know she and Max have a long history and are established, and Ricarrdo & Yulia aren't as established. But watching them, she seems (to me) better suited with Ricarrdo. He moves with her better and with more ease it seems. What do you guys think?

RU Joking? right? I think completely opposite Yulia's / Ricarrdo look like 2 solo mechanical dolls dancing with themselves in front of the mirror. No connection, 0 emotions, with perfect technique. Is that what everyone considers Partnership dancing today? Not in my book He doesn't move with her, he moves only with his selfish self and looks totally fake Yulia never pretended with Max and they looked like Real couple. I'll miss them.

uhm just a personal observation, Yulia and Max probably moved so well because they were dancing together for so long and Max clearly was great showman but in terms of technique I think Max did drag Yulia a little bit down. Riccardo is actually better I think in terms of technique but the fact that he is new to the pros and they've only been dancing for a year or so still makes them a little different to watch.
