All My Children and One Life to Live are not even safe from their cancellation sprees, instead they want to focus on cheap cooking shows and bland sitcoms. Disney has lost touch with their creative core and willingness to take risks and now rely on cheap "safe" gimmicks. They aren't alone and I think this has alot to do with the fact that most TV channels are under the control of the same corporations with less competition
