I suggest you check out Nyx's pallete "I Dream of St. Kitt." Awesome smoky eye colors and super creamy. I've been using it every day for work, and with a primer it last me from 7am till well into the evening when I take it off.

FYI, E.L.F. quads used to come in triangular shapes. However, they were so impractical because of the angles and wasted product, I emailed the company recommending they changed it. I was so pleased when I saw they had actually listened to their customers! But that Drama Eyes quad is fantastic, particularly if you put MAC Vanilla pigment on top of it all.

urban decay primer potion is really a staple and it's not that expensive, it will last you a long time. I've had mine for almost a year and havent had to break it open yet.

I agree, was reluctant to get UD's primer potion because of the price ($16 isn't a ton but it seemed like a small amount of product). But it has lasted me FOREVER. Especially since I only use it when I really do up my eyes for special occasions. It really works.

i have a suggestion for everyone to try... its l'oreal's h.i.p dou shadows... they cost around 7 dollars at walmart or target .. they come and some really nice shades . there are some matte colors ,mettallic,concentrated,and brightt . they are really pigmented .which is the reason for the name h.i.p High intensity pigments .... try themmmmm i love em

Love all the products you showed, the Cover Girl is my favorite. You should check out the NYX 10 color palettes ("Runway collection" and the "For your Eyes only" collection) -- I just got a couple of those palettes from Cherry Culture and think they're awesome. They have a great smokey one, I bet you would like it too and they're super affordable, 8 bucks each, I think that's great for 10 shades.

i agree, the revlon sponge applicators are sturdy. and so far, the only guru i see that use the sponge applicator that comes with the pallets is fuzkittie, but yeah, some people just use what's there or what works. so i really appreciate a guru like you that give that kind of a choice for your viewers.
