  • Aaahh!!! Uuuj!!! ...

  • No, it is Spanish, I take Spanish class.

  • When I listen to this song, I remember all my FAILED attempts to actually FIND HER LYRICAL VERSION of this song on the Internet. GOD!! What I wouldn't GIVE to read her Italian version of this song...Google doesn't help (and you can clearly tell her version is slightly different than the originals)...

Would anyone even CARE to translate HER version of Mambo Italiano to me? PLEASE?? I just LOVE this song... Dx

  • @KyokoFujita kind of a lot to write. you can look up the base lyrics in english though.

  • @Nick22pr

True...I got the first line, "Children in Naples...." ...but that's it. Dx But yes. I could and then hunt for the differences in both versions. :3

I translated what you said...Sì. Sono d'accordo. Mi piace la sua musica. Soprattutto "Amor Mio", che è cantata in spagnolo. Così bello... :')

  • @KyokoFujita Quello e abbastanza buona.

Haha!

    Me = Strano americano

    Mi piacerebbe saperne di più italiano .. Ho cominciato a studiare quando ho giocato di Assassin's Creed 2. ^-^;

  • Vamooos, a mover el culete..o cualquier otra parte..jaja Me gustaa esa cancion..a bailarrr!!

  • Dean Martin el Top!

  • is their not good enough Spanish music...that you now want to take Italian music lol!

  • @tunzi It's not even from Italy, it is from USA!! lol It was written by an American songwriter called Bob Merrill. lol

  • @juanchol31 ...I hardly think the conversation was about that ? It's about the langugae it's in ...

We can also get technical about where pasta came from

  • @tunzi Dear tunzi e zajjjj, before you start getting all hot under the collar I suggest you pick up a copy of Dean Martin's "Sway" and check out the name of the guy who wrote the music and lyrics. The author was(is?) a Mexican orchestra leader by the name of Pablo Beltran Ruiz. Now, I grew up in the 60's listening to Dean Martin. He's got a shitload of lovely songs, truly. And no one can touch his version of Sway, in English or Spanish (read here Michael Bublé)...

  • Damn Spanish takin our good Italian music and shit

  • @zajjjj Just don't make the mistake of thinking that Sway is an Italian song. Just ain't so. If you don't believe me, look it up. It's not hard to do. And by the way, Mexico has no reason to take anyone's music. We got plenty of love songs that have traveled around the world, and I'm not talking Mariachi music, either. Anyway, you gotta love Sinatra. Peace.

  • wow very good.mambo italiano

  • Molte bene. L' signorina va bella

  • Well, I don't judge anything about her Spanish singing, but as an italian native speaker ) can assure that she pronounces Italian words as they sound in Italian language, not as they sound in "brokkolino" ameritalian (as Dean Martin parodies it).

  • @OrbiliusMagister Dean Martin's family is from Napoli not america

  • @theduranimal13 Huh! You're right. He didn't parody Italian language: he had spoken it as his motherlamguage until he got to school. As professor Wik.E.Pedia goes "He was the target of much ridicule for his broken English", so his "Brokkolino" accent is a legitimate vengeance towards those who mocked him.

  • @OrbiliusMagister Dean Martin is from Italy, often linguists study immigrants because their variation of the mother language is different because they were not int he motherland to develop it further, so its like going back in history. Te reason its Ameritalian is because their Italian did not evolve whereas Italian Italian did.

  • Brava! Com'e si bella...Pace via MUSICA...Ciao-- Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, all part of the ROMANCE languages...VIVA MARIA!

  • she sings very well! this is latino relish so sexy! she has a great voice and a lot of personality. Chiflo! lol but there was no need for 2:17!

  • interesting it is like a semi hip hop version, good looking kid too.

  • worold is full of mambo italiano

  • it sounds like Italian mixed with Spanish... song

they need to out some PORTUGUESE in it to make it betta!

  • YOU RUINED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Most women murder this song. She does OK., though.

Kind of nice listening to it in a different language !!!

  • @fabiandoulton Rosemary Clooney?

  • @pelicanSPOON I mean women today.

Rosemary Clooney did a wonderful job on the song. !!!

  • As an English speaking fan of the song Mambo Italiano (who also understands enough Spanish and Italian to navigate through the various versions of this song) I have to say that this is a wonderful addition to the many artists who have covered this song. If you haven't heard previous versions of the song I'd suggest starting with Dean Martin, then listening to Rosemary Clooney.

  • the sophia loren version's better.

  • Bellissima voce! Beautiful voice! BRAVISSIMA!

Kisses and hugs from Italy! Ciao

then, why you speak in english? thats your orgoglio italinao? bitch!

  • mira idiota si habla ingles o no a ti te vale madre pinche idiota.

  • don't feel betrayed! she sings in spanish because in italy sometimes we're not good to give credit for very talented singers like filippa. but she's very famous in mexico and she recorded almost all the songs of the new album in spanish.

dovremmo usare il nostro orgoglio x apprezzarla e farla tornare a casa!

  • @fottiti27 Fottiti27 Instead of feeling betrayed just be thankful. Mambo Italiano is the English version of the Mexican song "Quien Sera" which was composed and written, in Spanish, by the Mexican band leader Pablo Beltran Ruiz, in the 1950's. I will certainly be the first to say that no one sings the song better, in English or Spanish, than Dino. A couple other great Mexican songs are "Besame Mucho", by Andrea Bocelli, and "It's Impossible" (Somos Novios), by Perry Como. Look it up.

  • @jaquisanchez189

This is different than Quien Sera. Both songs are great. Do not know either language but I know music. Sometimes we have close and smart music but they are different.

  • @zaynT3 Greetings. I can appreciate your sincerity. However, do yourself a favor and do the research for the song on Youtube. It's not difficult to do. It won't take long. Now, I am not going to criticize you for not knowing either Spanish or Italian. However, you need to do the research regarding this song before making that assertion.

  • @jaquisanchez189 Sorry dude you are Partly wrong!

"Sway" is the English version of "Quien Sera" NOT Mambo Italiano. In fact, Mambo italiano's lyrics has nothing to do with Quien sera.. Mambo Italiano is an original song written by Bob Merrill in 1954 and recorded by Rosemary Clooney which then became a hit for her at #10 in the charts. Since then the song has been recorded and remixed by many artists. As for who sings the song "Quien Sera" better, I like the Panchos version.
