  • Nope falous, above 12 is death. But here is not that high, cause we still can see T waves, which means it's around 7. We also should mention the Left bundle branch block. Also I would think about Sgarbossa ( always think lions) cause having RBBB and discordance more than 5mm, bingo we have AMI. Now do we have reciprocal STD, well look at II and aVL, so what I would do is let the lab check for me the lites but I will also check the Ez's. It may end up having anteroseptal AMI.

  • K+ is not an absolute number. It's relative to the person. This guy, who is a dialysis patient, tolerated it without death.

    Is someone lives with a normal K+, and the K+ shoots up that high, I don't feel their heart would tolerate it.

  • I thought a K+ of 8.9 was death. "above 7 go to heaven"? I'm from Australia, so maybe we have different values?
