Well, in all fairness, it's not really a flaw of the show, the idea was to graphically illustrate the pointlessness of the war they're fighting and the enormous human cost, at which it succeeds brilliantly and I could wax eloquent about all the things that are brilliant about the first two episodes of last exile...

Well, the confusing part is understandable, if you watch the original Last Exile, you'll probably feel the same way, the show doesn't make any sense until you watch the whole way through, and even then it's sketchy at best (although, awesome). For the dialogue that is lost from overlap however, that has been conveniently provided in the sidebar for referencing.

200 Proof is roughly 60% alcohol meaning yes, it would basically melt is face if he chugged it back. 200 proof is the strongest alcohol you're allowed to sell for human consumption, but as was also said, it makes a much better engine cleaner. Glad you enjoyed it.

Wow. That was funny, but a lot of the dialogue is lost by other dialogue going on top of it. Once you see to that you've got a really funny clip here. That and the fact that it moves a litte too fast.

Well, actually the original idea behind that was to actually force the watcher to stop it, rewind it and go back over it in order to catch the whole thing. There's a few bits of .1 second subtitle in there with the same idea in mind. I can appreciate of course that the idea and the result don't exactly mesh 100% and I thank you for the critique.
