I am from Hawaii and she is a beautiful woman. Yes, she should have won the Miss Universe crown as well. What a crock! Her scores were so darn high..unbelieveable!!

Miss Texas should've won. Barbra Horan was clearly the MOST beautiful. She & Miss Massachusetts were tied for 1st runner-up. How they decided who would take 2nd and who would take 1st is a mystery - hmmmm. But back then, ALL the women were gorgeous - those judges truly had a challenging time of choosing a winner. Nowadays, USA girls are starting to look alot more like America girls - ugggggggggggggggly!
