Coming out is a very personal process that involves considering many different factors.
If you are at risk of being hurt or left without emotional / financial support, then it is probably better if you wait to come out.
But you should not stay closeted to make others feel better or because you do not want to risk being treated differently.
Living a 'muted' life or a life of lies will eventually have a negative effect!
