Ultimate fighter really put UFC on the map to the casual MMA fans. I don't know if I'd call Tito a "poster boy" I've been watching since his heyday, and know he's headlined cards, ect. But I agree with Dana on one point, Tito hasn't really been focused on fighting for the last couple years. I watch TNA about once or twice a month, I have been doing that for about 6 months, and EVERY TIME it's complete shit so much that it makes me change the channel. You don't have to eat the whole pie to know it tastes like shit. My luck can't be that bad that I see the only bad TNA Impact of the month. Mark my words, Austin Aries will be in the wwe soon,. And so will alot of the other RoH stars.. It seems like when a company raids another company that isn't the wwe they get critisized but when the wwe does it. It's ok. Case in point the ecw raid wwe did, Sure wcw was just as guilty but the since the wwe is the wwe it was alright for them to do so..

I would watch those if they were around, TNA is the only alternative on cable telivision. Thus I think it's better than the wwe. But that is me as a fan. Ratings do not mean crap. RoH is great but they wrestle in small places so they do not have alot of fans as well. So I guess they suck too if you are going by numbers and ppv buys.. See my point just because a product is popular it does not mean it's great. And yes I am pissed at TNA for the booking and lack of pushes to the right guys..

And I agree with TNA need for more wrestling, Longer matches especially for their knockouts, X division and tag team division. I think TNA needs to slowly get rid of the established veterans with huge egos, The Booker T's need to job more etc. But I worry that Booker will be the next champion because if you notice it never takes long for the ex wwe'rs winning the world title, Booker should never be TNA champion!

O, and "watered down" wrestling probably comes from the fans not popping for highspots and having 150-200 matches to work a year. No, TNA doesn't give you snoze fests, but they make you want to beat the living shit out of everyone in the office. I can't stand to watch TNA, it's abysmal. No, WWE should not give CM Punk back, WWE is using him, WWE is making him a star, TNA is making EVERYONE on their roster a joke by just being on the roster of a company with cage matches with christmas lights.

every x-division star is currently some form of a cartoon character when it comes to gimmicks. that doesn't mean they can't wrestle, but gimmicks like sharkboy, lethal, dutt, and curryman are getting really annoying for me to watch. TNA has good wrestling, but they've got plenty of their own faults as well, just like WWE has their high points as well as their low points

Yes, a ROH fan can't enjoy different types of wrestling. O wait "WWE isn't wrestling" bullshit, wrestling started in CARNIVALS.
If TNA and ROH did an event, TNA would ruin it with a reverse first blood match, then a "find a rat in a box, the other boxes have mousetraps" match. Guess which one actually happened.
WWE is far superior to TNA in EVERY WAY. They have great wrestling, it's just not full of COOL MOVEZ which, by the way, doesn't make a great match.

People talk about ratings so many of times. BUT, Does ratings really show how good a show is?.. Case in point, The real ECW was only getting a 0.5 ratings when it was on then tnn. Now the fake ECW gets more than double that. You can have another company have the greatest match in TV history, But since it isn't the wwe no one will watch it., People say we kiss TNA's ass, Because we are TNA fans, Yet, They act like the wwe is the epiphany of life!.

No, because how "good" something is in wrestling is 100% opinion,that's why WWE bases what they do on ratings.Cena draws people in, sells merch,and gets pops (no such thing as bad heat as long as people make noise).Which is why Cena is a main eventer and Shelton Benjamin is botching moves on ECW.Just because YOU think a match is great,doesn't mean everyone else does.Guess what,80% of fans,HATE highspots,they think it looks fakeKnow how I know this?Because WWE got millions of buys and TNA didn't.

Cena only draws little boys and girls who have no idea what a headlock is to a toe hold. Maybe Benjamin wouldn't botch so much if he wasn't so watered down. RVD would be botching too in nowadays wwe. And he runs a million miles around Benjamin.. Burger Kind sels alot of hamburgers but there could be a privately owned resturant who has better hamburgers but since they are not a big chain well they will probably be always ignored. I'm starting to see that I don't disagree with you guys, I disagree with Doug. He tries to be crass and bold for the sake of... God only knows.
But I dunno. I'd be afraid that a partnership would lead to ROH becoming wild with storylines like TNA. If not, I think that would be the big force that'd keep them apart. ROH is simple and great while TNA is gimmicky with decent wrestling.
Also, I think that'd water down the roster even more. I just want ROH to get national TV...

I've been a long-time TNA fan and wanted them to do well but when it comes down to it, WWE is doing things better right now. TNAs stupid, confusing, and nonsensable storylines are making it unwatchable. No degree of good wrestling is going to over power the gimmick-fests.
Go find the video where Vince spoke about 'tearing open the creative envelope'... I think it was back in 1997. Its still true today. TNA needs to think about that.

As a business standpoint it would be stupid for TNA to work with ROH. Working with ROH will end up getting them on TV and if that happens then ROH becomes a threat to TNA.
This won't work for another reason TNA's goal is to destroy WWE. ROH's is not in business to put WWE out of business.

ROH lost there TV deal in England and TNA is shown at 9pm on Saturdays. Thats why I don't watch much of them.
