Parallels came to our office in Los Angeles for a demo. The Parallels VP of Sales David Feldman showed up at our office drunk and smelling of wine. He talked for 20 minutes straight about things like how he invented texting and other nonsense. We will never have parallels back.

Cool, I installed this too, just to see how it works and its great. Unfortunately I can't see a reason for using it as the apps I use are already Mac apps and I cant find an app on the PC side that I can do things with that I can't on my Mac. So I'll uninstall Paralells but if I ever find an app on the PC side thats worth a shit, well you know. I doubt it.

Parallels will be really cool when it gets to the point where video 3d and directx is better supported. Especially the day we can run Windows Media Center on it!

Coherence is just a feature in Parallels that lets you see the windows applications as if they where a mac application instead of having all windows applications inside of just one little window where windows is being emulated its rely useful but you can always switch between one OS window with all apps there or coherence look with just one key stroke.

At the price, you can't afford not to have Parallels and Windaz XP installed on your Mac. My only grumble having the non-coherence version is that in UK at least, we seeem unable to get a discounted upgrade. :-(
