They spend millions putting these committees together, only to have them tell us what we already know. Then, they don't even put into effect what the committee recommends. That's why these so called committees recommendations are never binding.

According to Bloomberg, he had a contract that went back to 12 years ago, receiving 1.6 to 1.8 million from Freddie Mac and he received a $300,000 payment in 2006. He did not receive "bailout" money. The bailout, that was sanctioned by the Obama administration in 2008, I believe.

He is not the nice happy politician but he is the smartest politician, this guy would absolutely take it to obama in the debates and expose him. I really don't see any other republican doing that Obama would out debate any one of these guys but not newt. I love good political debates Newt pummeling Obama would be epic.

He’s the most intelligent and experienced candidate running, which is why he has my vote! His ideas, unlike Pawlenty's, Ron Paul's and Romney's, actually make sense and he knows how to turn a nation around… He has got a new-and-improved staff, a new campaign strategy, and a slew a great solutions. He's definitely on the verge of a solid comeback and we need him in office. Go Newt!!!

I was doubting Newt's campaign, but he just hit a home run at the debate. While Pawlenty, Bachmann, Romney, and Paul were going at each other's throats, Newt passionately conveyed the problem with Washington and how he can lead us in the right direction. Gingrich may have won my vote

Ron Paul has a lot of good ideas, but he's an imbecile on other topics, and he's completely unPresidential. Someone explain to me the appeal of Michelle Bachman--she has crazy eyes and strikes me as completely out of touch...seems to think she's the leader of everything. I really like Rick Santorum, but I'm not sure he has a chance. Herman Cain is clueless and would get bulldozed in DC. I thought Newt Gingrich won this debate hands down.

Maybe we should have a panel of co presidents here in the USA...It seems to me that each and everyone of the candidates have some very good ideas while not one of them has an absolutely great idea. Maybe if they were to all help lead our nation we could solve the real issues that confront us.
