@erickheadshot all they did was reduce dmg on headbut( and increase recovery time), as well as making far standing jab wiff on crouching opponents. Also close standing strong is cancelable. But none of that affects his main combos
@erickheadshot yeah it works, have tested it on ae, the only thing that worked on vanilla but not on AE is the shortcut for the Running low smash, all the ones shown here are all working on AE.
nice, new format, just a a bit of tips and how to do them. Clean presentation. I personally like it because I don't main rog and here I can see some of the dirty little tricks he can pull. Especially those TAP bait and punishes
@AmigoOne hee heeeee! The TAP buffer is sweet, I normally use it with EX Overhead, its sweet, also the TAP escape is very good too because of the startup invincibility, but it can be baited if used too much. although no one expects ya to use it to escape.
1 thing tho, im not sure i understand the inputs for change of direction ultra. like what to do and when. I guess i dont understand how to keep charge after you switch sides. THANKS FOR THE HELP and keep it up!
@elreypele lets say you are on the left side of the screen with akuma on the right and you are crouching and holding down back, if he teleports as he is passing where you are crouching and balrog starts to turn just press forward (where balrog is facing then complete the motion
lol! actually there is nothing to it, if you can dash you can dash ultra.just have to practice walking back and dashin forward immediately or crouch blocking and dashing immediately. Just practice man. the only difficult technique for Rog is the EX Kara Ultra which I decided not to include in the video.
@RyuApprentice you can pull out some sick stuff on ps3 pad man , i use a ps3 pad too and now rekkas are finally becoming part of my nature lmfao , but dash ultra seems pretty hard on it , might stay few hours on the lab
yes you can, but due to dee jay slighly slower dash speed its a bit more difficult. sorry about the quality of the vid, the tru HD was too big for me to upload
@RyuApprentice yeah but people are saying its easier to do it on AE edition , i'll try to master this on pad too , cuz i can only dash ultra on stick , and i barely use a stick nowdays
damn you can dash and do a charge ultra on pad ? i can do it but only on the stick (i play charge on stick and fei long and others on pad) , can you do the dee jay's dash into ultra 2 on pad too ?
Now if only there was a tutorial which helps you learn how to charge properly and how to play charge characters overall.

@stoenur You can use anyone, KKK starts up one frame faster than PPP, but I use PPP because I play pad and its easier for me that way

I had a lot of trouble doing dash ultra with rog and basically any charge character :/ idk how you do it so easy

His dash punch gives him great versatility against zoners, it's great since people think you don't have down charge.

lol, I have never had the chance to play stick so for now i play exclusively on PS3 pad, xbox is weird for me so i use it only when i have no choice.
