  • annoying

  • dats what a squier sound like!

    its fender afterall

beats down all the competiton in that price range hands down!

  • @Flarkdude27

    O.o ..... i only correct guitarskater1000 ... :P

  • i was looking at the tab for this song and didnt get how it went with the song but now i get it thanks so much and great vid and playing :)

  • what effects did you use?

  • It isn't a Fender-- it's the cheap version...It's a Squire

  • But it's still a Fender, Squire is a sub-make.

  • @MCAdelbert Squier* Respect it, they still make better guitars than you right?

  • nice fender

  • @accougarforlife15 just hear tabs ;D

  • fucken sweet as man!

  • well done

  • Nice!

  • put a humbucker in that squier u cant do anything bad with screwing up a beginner guitar

  • ya, i risked fuckin up mine,,but hey now it looks like a frankenstrat ;)

  • anybody know the tabs for the solo? like wat frets to play

  • sick man , how much was it to get the killswitch installed? i have a squier too and also what kind of amp do you have? i gota a shitty ass epiphone that makes an awful high pitch squeal when i put distortion up too high

  • @accougarforlife15 Ive got a Roland its pretty sick I would recomend it

  • For a squier sounds pretty good =) i stick with schecter tho ^_^

  • i learned s0methng new from you.. thx man..

  • howd u get the kill swith on it

  • it is a real fender its just a 'squier' fender.

  • so what that "squier" means?

  • did u add the kill switch urself if u did could u give me some instruction on how to do it pleez

  • yea. i added it myself.

kinda messed up on it though, and the 5 way toggle thats already on the guitar, can sometimes short out.

you can find many videos here on youtube on how to install one.

this pretty much costed me 15 bucks... and its really easy.

  • aLIRGHT awesome yeh coz there sweet

  • just go to radioshack and get a red, pushbutton switch, you can either get rid of one of the knobs, or cut a new hole, then just attach each of the 2 leads off the switch to the + and - wires on the output jack, I have a killswitch on all my guitars.

maybe, 5 bucks and some work to do it.

  • nice job

  • the end is wrong

use should slide to the 14th fret on the low E

  • NICE cover!!! that was pretty sweet

  • hey dude how old do you have to be to go to a rage concert man because im 14 and i dont know if old enough and by the nice cover

  • screw it man im 12 and ive been

  • Are you kidding? Shows don't have age limits unless they are played in bars. Some festivals have age limits too.

Have fun waiting for a show to come to your area, whenever they decide to get together and play. The last time Rage played in Arizona was during the TBoLA tour.

  • I no, i went 2 VH wen I was 13 and ACDC at the age of 14. both concerts had the strong smell of pot

  • I think if you're 14 as me - we have no chance to be there... Put eny concert of RATM and you'll see whats happening there - we would die! ;D

  • Nice cover!

    I have a Squier too.. =D

    Cya!

  • wah pedal ?

  • nice cover dude...

anyway i have couple questions to ask.

do killswitchs works with every guitar?

    and

    what is the average price

    and finally

where can i get it installed?

pls i really want to know..

    i'm a n00b in guitar playing

  • u can get one for round 40 50 dollars and they can install one at guitar center thats where i took mine and they sent mine to a professional place to have it put on. im pretty sure it will work on 95% of guitars

  • thanks a lot man.

guitar centers are hard to find in Indonesia.

wish me luck in finding one

  • well if u google it just search guitar centers in indonesia and u may get results on some close by

  • thanks a lot for the tips man.

    it helps a lot.

    thanks again. : )

  • Cheapest way is to do it yourself, and its really simple, all you have to do is drill a hole in the scratchplate at the size of the switch (Push to make switch, ideally not a toggle, as these require two movements per kill) and then solder it between the output jack and rest of the guitar's electronics. Make sure it is the last component on your guitar before the jack, or it wont work properly.

If you are unconfident then get a pro to do it, but it only takes a couple of minutes to do.

  • it works on every guitar exept acoustic loll

  • yo awesome cover bro

  • thank you man

  • that was fucking awesome

i love RATM and i think u did a great cover

  • thanks bro

  • Good stuff. One tip. the riff at the end is kinda off. Its

    E -0-2-xx-14--0-2-xx-14--0-2-xx-14--xxxxxxx

You play it on the 12 instead of 14. Its meant to be the octave up from F sharp. If you play it on the 12 then its the octave up from E then it sounds kinda off.

  • thanks man. yea i went by ear, and 10 mins after i made this vid i realized that it was off lol.

  • hey! youre good at this. i play guitar myself too. what i wondered is: how does a killswitch actually work? my big idol, tom Morello uses it often.

  • well tom has a guitar with 2 pickups and a volume knob for each pickup. he then turns one of them to 10 and the other to 0. so when he flips between the two pickups on the toggle switch, it creates that effect. so he turns his toggle switch into a killswitch by doing this.

  • ok, thanks!

  • hey mate, could you send me the patch?

  • patch?

  • Umm, if your using a rp350 you should have a sound setting you can upload to your computer.

I want that sound setting. lol.

  • oh yea. i dont do the whole computer thing with the rp 350 cause i dont have the cable for it lol. but i use the whammy distortion. its preset number 13 i think

  • check out my like a stone video too dude, if ur into audioslave

  • doesn't Tom use delay in the intro?

  • he killswitches the intro im pretty sure

  • no he uses neither. he uses tremelo on the intro, i just chose not to use it here

  • killswitch/tremelo, same deal basically, but you are right

  • how much do they run for?

  • it was somewhere around 7 bucks

  • one suggestion, when you play, stand up, it helps in hitting the stompboxes

  • yea i agree. im gonna start doing that. thanks man

  • anytime, but in general, good playing

  • cooool

  • awesome

  • your good on all your other song but you messed up a little on bulls on parade and you should get a wah pedele if you play rage alot

  • the solo here uses a wah peadle and its pretty easy to tell i used a wah peale in bulls on parade.

  • you instead of buying a kill switch could of just boguht a les paul

  • i just did a few weeks ago lol

  • y would u pay for all the switches u should upgrade ur guitar to atleast a mexican or a standard from a squier

  • You're awesome man.. Great job.

  • how much did you pay for the killswitch

  • 5 bucks, installed myself

  • dude i can't find it in toronto

if you know where i could buy one in toronto

  • Very good man. Where did you get the tabs or did u play by ear?

  • went somewhat by tab, but most was by ear. the solo was by ear...

  • im pretty sure the beginning is chords you are playing the bass line

  • no the very beginning is just the single strings, then after a couple measures and it gets more intense it goes into chords.

  • toe1213 was right, the single strings in the beginning is the bass line, the guitar intro is all power chords played thru either a boss tremolo (live) or a gated effect set to the snare hits (studio). Anyhooo, Sweet cover!

  • yea, i forgot to kick in the tremolo there, i do it when i jam with the live version, but i dont when i do the studio version, not sure why though, i just like to do it like that

  • you should upgrade to to a fender

  • So it was only the switch you put in? No wirings or anything? cause i might do that only I'd get a button instead

  • well theres some soddering and you need a wire to extend the existing ones, i originally had a button but i got the oppostie where then u push it down its "on" lol

  • so what do you think is better? the button or switch

  • if u wanna do fast stuff like buckethead for example, i would get the button, but i like the swtich, no particular reason though

  • I want to put both on one of my guitars.... it would be so awkward going from a switch to a button tho because the button kills the guitar when u press it... so u have to essentially use it the opposite way u use a switch (down hits are on, where as the button down hits are off)

  • yea, thats part of the reason that i put the switch

  • you took the tone knob out and put the switch there and then what did you do?

  • um it comes with like a screw thing that u screw on to keep it on there if thats what you want to know...

  • How much did it cost/where did you purchase it?

  • 5 bucks, instead of radioshack, we get its sister brand in canada here which is called the source.

  • thanx ma u helped out alot just next time try and face the camera with the guitar.. ists sorta hard to see whats ur playing :) keep it up

  • next tom morello no effin doubt you rock man, and how much does it cost to get a killswitch put on?

  • i did it myself, the switch costed like 5 bucks, and the switch took like 5 mins to install. Thanks alot

  • What pedal(s) do you use for guerilla radio?

  • use some wah for the verese(i think thas what its called) and for the solo use use whammy and wah to create that effect.

  • oh yea, and flanger as well

  • nice man

  • NICE COVER

    N RAtM Rox!!

  • NICE cover!

  • thanks alot

  • no problem, the camera looks pretty sweet too

  • good job man, sweet cover

  • IM GAY.
