I think this is not so much a song as it is an amalgamation of awful, cliché, and cloying nonsense with some music. Bad Time Zoo was a really disappointing set of pop songs in comparison with Lights Out Paris. A good quarter of the album is vapid junk like this.

@winndeburlo that's what i thought on the first listen, then i came back a month or two later with a more open mind and i found that a lot of these songs are my favorite that he's ever done. especially staring down the ocean, the hidden track at the end of hey you

Has a Legend Recognize Legend feel to it. I like it, but I'll brutally honest that Sims ain't got the greatest singing voice.
