"Connecting up with God" is that from Scripture? in the last part of Ephesians chapter 2 it says we can be connected to each other as we grow into a Holy temple in the Lord - it says we are God's Family (which we must (all) be because we are out of God (there is no other creator) )- the people who come to your meeting can connect with each other but they can't "connect to God" because we (all) are already connected to God whether we know it or not
