I love the idea that the Katanas sound like a super sport but they are inexpensive, comfortable, and good for more than one thing. And it still hauls ass if you need it do. Everything is on demand with the Katanas, 600 or 750, both perfect.

Question...how comfortable is this bike to ride, and how would it be for a novice rider at 6'1, 200lbs?

@RB5566 Did anyone answer your question? I'm 6' even 220+. I love my Katana. To list all the good things would take too long. As far as I can tell, everything is subjective, the only two knocks with mine are.

1) No cruise control

2) It's a bit of a ball crusher when your stopping fast (especially with a passenger)

Other than that it's balls to the wall fun. You won't be going out with your buddies who own cruisers too much.

They can't keep up. And you can't go that slow!

@pfmrokman Nope! Nobody did but you. Thanks! :) I ended up getting a KLR650 instead. :) I'm in the process of finding either a Katana 750, an SV650 or 1000, or maybe a GPZ1100. Still haven't decided.

Hey dude,I really wasn't trying to be an asshole;I just get tired of people acting like you're not riding a "real" bike if you're not on a 1000.I ride a gs500e that I've spent more money on modifying than makes good common sense,so it is sentimental to me even though I would like a 600.But in sportbike circles,even 600 riders get treated this way sometimes.I would like to know that my bike was capable of at least 150mph,but with a family,can't afford anything right now.I enjoy what I have tho.

NOT fake, exactly. Vid shows top spd of 100mph not 110, plus sportbike speedos read about 10 percent high so actual speed is about 90. I've got a 750 that's almost as quick; a few mods and this is totally realistic.

at .0:28 you can hear a dyno or just the tire spinning in mid air. This is not a 0-110 on pavement sorry, but nice try and as metioned before by other comments look at the clouds they dont even move! lol this is a joke

Very Sweet. I have an '06 Katana 750, but it is totally stock. What exactly did you modify to make it so quick? I estimated your ride from 0-110 mph at about 8 seconds.

its an old trick with motorcycles called "speeding up the video." listen to the idle at the beginning, did that sound normal to you?

lol, No, it's not sped up. The only thing done to it is a Yoshi exhaust and a jet kit.
