i believe that the best way to honor the dead isn't to flower their life with all of their good deeds only. I don't think that it would be wise to only mention the bad things either. I simply think that the way to truly honor the dead is to tell their life story. Have someone who knew them really well tell of the good times, and the bad. Of his compassionate moments, and his spiteful. The main thing to do is to try to figure out why they did what they did, so that people can understand them.

i believe that the best way to honor the dead isn't to flower their life with all of their good deeds only. I don't think that it would be wise to only mention the bad things either. I simply think that the way to truly honor the dead is to tell their life story. Have someone who knew them really well tell of the good times, and the bad. Of his compassionate moments, and his spiteful. The main thing to do is to try to figure out why they did what they did, so that people can understand them.

Hitler's art was actually considered to be ahead of his time, but other than that, it's a relatively accurate rant. The way we bend over backwards to preserve the memory of the dead is atrocious.
However the fact of the matter remains that if you are attending the dead's funeral, someone who did you no harm may grieve over a carcass you'd spit on. If he was a jackass, everyone who knew him already knows it. Give those that don't their illusions. "If you can't say something nice, say nothing."

Apparently, the school was similar to a catholic private school, so a non-Jewish person getting accepted would have been almost, if not completely, impossible.
