The video includes nothing how such big revolutions created a new nation. Nothing is told about Ottoman past either.

As the title is "Father of Turks" you expect to see a documentary about Ataturk's reforms and what they mean for that era, at least objectively discussed in historical perspective. But this video includes mostly misinterpreted counterrevolution views. Turkey is a real unique country in terms of cultural and economic transition achieved mostly by Ataturk's great genuine view. The video includes nothing how such big revolutions created a new nation. Nothing is told about Ottoman past either.

Facts: There was no US ambassador in Ottoman Empire between 1917-1927. Smyrne (İzmir) was a Ottoman province at the time and it was invaded by Greece. They were defeated and retreated to Greece. There was about 300k Christians living in Smyrne according to a count in 1914, not even close to 500k. If you don't want to look like a racist fool, at least check some objective sources.

Your circular argument is limited. Not all Christian states converted forcibly Muslims and Jews to Christians. Muslims are not excluded from this trend either, Muslims (from all Islamic empires) persuaded or encouraged Christians and Jews to convert to Islam. Christians may have been brutish in but only because Muslims have been domineering since their beginnings; as they had the inspired word of Allah (via the Qur'an) to use military force.

Dutch people (as other European states) have had colonies in Africa, this would explain why they have Blacks incorporated in the whole group. The same concept applies to Latin-American countries in which had immigration or slaves brought there. In Turkey...mostly on the western-side of Turkey do you find light complected Turks whom look european, as these cities / places had been originally tied to Europe, Greece and the Slavs.

Kemal Mustafa Ataturk is a GOD in Turkey. His photos, statues and relics are all over the country. He's a worshipped idol if not a God - something that Muslims would not tolerate but in Turkey it is. Turkic tribes all have different physics. Some have slanted eyes some have blonde hair some are light skinned (like me) some darker (like my little brother and little sister) my other sister has blonde hair and blue eyes, like my grandfather, his sons and doughters mostly have green eyes like me.
Turkic tribes have different eye colors and can be light or tan skinned. This doesn't make them less Turk.
