@violagrl09 haha I went to a nerd convention last year and these girls were making fun of people that were still into pokemon, I totally wanted to try to explain how the game is more than they understand and being able to just do what you enjoy regardless of age is far more awesome than just going with the crowd but then our stop came up and i lost my nerve lol

Dude, that is why I like you because you have no shame to your game!! I do medieval full combat in the SCA, also play in the Renaissance Fair with the German military. I play WoW, CounterStrike, getting into Left for Dead. Love Hellgate London but now it is dead. I still play the game but its no longer on line.

@ebonknight DUDE.. i LOVE Left 4 Dead and I've always wanted to play in a medieval full combat guild... I just don't know of any local places or groups around here that do that.. you should wrote or vlog about those experiences, I'm crazy interested lol

@PockyStarPokemon No, they're totally building it now...Favorite this video and come look at it a year from now, I bet money that there's a new 3DS out before September of next year with two circle pads and maybe a larger screen. Ha.. Naturally I'm speculating but I just can't buy it in it's current form or with that ugly extension... XD

I don't know if I want "being a geek" to get anymore mainstream than it already is. It's awesome and I want to keep it to ourselves. xD Plus if everyone is a geek and nerd then who will we scorn for being normal and average? =) I am more a book nerd and avid reader than a gamer but I consider then both sub genres of the geek community. There are crossovers of each I enjoy.

@AlorenNS I was thinking the same thing. I'm a big gamer, but I'm also a design geek, which also makes me a design book/ methodology geek but I rarely talk about that stuff outside of those circles because they aren't as generally accepted as gaming and such. Which says to me, no matter how mainstream our culture becomes there will always be pockets where we can escape and selfishly horde it for ourselves. As for who to scorn? Jerks and people that get by on their looks aren't going extinct.

I agree but being a geek isn't only about playing with toy's it's a lifestyle choice like goth or rhasta boy's I say's it's all good as long as iy's not all there is too you and I think there's a double standard going on with super geeks and average geeks....2 b cont.

Ha, my goal is to try to have a kid by then so I can just look like an awesome father that spends time with his kids..which I will be, but I admit my motives will be a bit skewed... I think it's my gene's, my dad is 70 and doesn't look a day over 50. I totally freak out every year that I inch closer to 30. lol its kinda why I started youtube now, because it'll be easier to maintain an audience growing older than starting when I am older lol

I'm more of a gamer, not a geek. Does that make sence? xD This Speakout looks cool, cause I know a lot of ppl that are geek-ish and they're a little ashamed of it. I think they should be proud of it, it's just who they are and they do what they love.

Like you said, im nerdy in alot of ways :) My most nerdy thing though is gaming. Im a massive game nerd. Im very addicted to playing video games!

Which is why some things annoy me about the game industry these days, that some casual gamers might not understand!

I freaking hate that alot of companies these days use DLC. Dont get me wrong, DLC is fine. Its good when they use it to greatly enhance a game, like adding a big extension.

DLC 2 weeks after a game comes out though 0_0 Thats annoying!

@iLikePrograms Dude I hate DLC because it's being used for evil... Some companies are charging something crazy like 15 dollars a pop and releasing it 3 months apart and then releasing a new game in the midst of that.

@csandreas Hmm yeah, I dont mind so much if they release some new stuff if its been atleast 3 months. That way most of the time its actually substantial and worth paying for (assuming the price is right).

I just hate it when companies are like "Oh yeah theres so many things we wanted to include in the game ... blah blah, now its being released as DLC" but the DLC comes out about 2 week after. Its like really? All that "extra stuff". I can wait two freaking weeks, rather than spending MORE MORE!

(yelling nooo in the middle of doing something someone asked and the like)...people say I'm lying but I'm really not.. I'm going to offer some advice on your page..frankly if I could get dates with my level of weirdness you should be fine.
