It is way to easy to complete, and offers no challenge at all! If you want a good game with awesome graphics, get this, but if you want some challenge, get Midnight Club: LA

I love this game it's one of the only 3'rd party games that give full on support for the ps3. I guess criterion games is a MATURE compony that see no point in only supporting the 360. The trophies are so fun to get :)
ha the xbox version studders once or twice and yet people wonder why ps3 is picking up on getting some insane game titles to premier on the ps3 console
i dont get why he complained about havin to take the cars down, its way more fun and awarding then just winning a specific race and then it says: congratulations, u have unlocked a car
February 5th (or 6th) brought us v1.6 of this game, the in game store and updated visuals (smashes and billboards are welcomed, but the one thing that went missing is the Sponsor Codes... I *suspect* that one unplug and down-grade to 1.0 to (re-) acquire the Steel Wheels GT, et al, but the cars they have are quite cool. The Party Pack isn't for everyone, but it's definitely fun as a pad-passing game. I think I'll hunt down Burnout Revenge just to be able to compare though.
Well, it's a great game. The showtime mode is a joke, hardly a real test of skill, but the challeneges, and even the use of a Junk Yard to switch cars adds a level of realism, virtuality, that I enjoy an appreciate. Shutting down the unlocked/awarded cars is fun, it gets more challenging as time goes by and the vehicles get cooler. I was very happy to get the Police car (Hunter Citizen) which oddly resembles the new Dodge cop cars in my real-life neighbourhood.
U guys have got to try it, im 79% done with the game and i got all the cars (you get a achivement called "all pimped out" for gettin all the cars)the only thing i dont like is that the Hunter Citizen (Police Cruiser) doesnt have working lights and siren. =( i always wanted a police car lol.
He says that Shutting Down unlocked cars becomes tedious.
Everytime you unlock a car to Shut Down, just immediately start driving really really slow. Seriously, in less than 2 minutes you'll see the new car driving faster than everyone else, so just hit the gas and boost and drive into it. It's so easy.

I've played this game already (have a friend who works in curry's, got it to me early) and I am actually disappointed with it, so much so that I returned it. I'm not saying its a terrible game, but I recommend fans of the previous games rent it before buying it. Just my two 'cents' worth.

I agree 100%, and Showtime is shit in comparison to Crash Mode. But who cares if it needs skill?! Neither does Crash Mode, just timing.

Yes it does, click the left thumbstick (this is on a 360 controller for the PC) Then click and hold for a faster siren, or click again to turn off.

Everytime you unlock a car to Shut Down, just immediately start driving really really slow. Seriously, in less than 2 minutes you'll see the new car driving faster than everyone else, so just hit the gas and boost and drive into it. It's so easy.

Criterion have confirmed that custom soundtracks for the PS3 will DEFINATLY be in the game update, coming up in the next few weeks/months.

ok 1:i played the demo 4 about 3 hours when i downloaded it, and even that was frigging amazing
and 2:if u got it early then it was done illigaly so i would love 2 know what shop let u trade it back cos no where official would
