This is a great show. How can shows like that face the risk of getting cancelled when shows like Buffy (sorry Buffy fans!) lasted 7 seasons something! It is just beyond me. Saw the first seven episodes and thought they were really great 10 times better than the first episode of Vampire diaries (apparently it gets better after the 1st one). plz dont cancel it. love that show! It wasn't. It was failing. Bad. Luckily, a second chance, and a new team, saved it. BH, 90210 also didn't have such peak in the start either until later episodes.

People really bitch too much about "originals" when they weren't all that popular to begin with. And yes, these shows had 7 SEASONS TO SPEAK OF to make up for it.

vanhelen, i was about 9 when the original was cancelled. Ive been reading that the original sucked ass until the second season. FOX gave it a chance and it becmae a hit with some cast changes and different story lines. Give this one a chance and im sure it'll be a hit.. and i dont plan on watching the original cuz i tried with the pilot and got bored after 10 minutes and i turned it off. btw supertsar that scene is from the pilot episode. in the tub is riley and jonah. that scene is at the end.

A) Since when does Michael have a son? When the show ended in 1999 he married Lexi in the pool at the complex. Who's the mother of this kid?

B) How is Sydney even alive? She was run over and presumably killed by Samatha's fugitive dad at the end of season 5.

Michael Mancini had a child (a boy, Michael Jr.) with Taylor McBride, and Jane was pregnant with his child (a girl) at the conclusion of the original series. Supposedly, David is the offspring of a one night stand from BEFORE Jane & Michael's marriage. His other son Noah is from his current wife Vanessa (Brooke Burns). As for Sydney, if Violet is 18, Sydney could've gotten pregnant as a teen, hence why her family always treated her like a child.
