That version of BBC (Frank Crumit Band, circa 1924)can be found on a recording entitled "The OSU Tailgate" Souvenir Collection. It's a great CD and has a special arrangement of Carmen Ohio dedicated to the 2002NC Team.

If college football lives in Ohio St tradition, it sure as hell dies a slow death in the National Championship!!Talk about a bunch of fans living in denial.Pray you lose to usc, so Georgia doesnt drop close to 40 on "the" ohio st blackeyes!! HOW ABOUT THOSE LSU TIGERS?
National Championchip and LSU Tigers? Im sure we're aware of the fact that we lost to LSU last year when we were suppost to be 3rd in the big 10 and ended up being 2nd in the nation, where was your team at? Laureniteus will win the butkus this year and wells is in the top 5 for heisman. I think your the one living in denial in not believeing that the buckeyes have well more then a shot.
OSU made it to the big game two years in a row, and, yes, we know they lost badly in both. However, how many other teams, well over 100, would have loved the chance to play in that game just one year, let alone two years ago. Plus, they beat Miami in 2002, so fans aren't living in denial. It's people with narrow focus and looking at history with one eye closed that have the problem.
My friend, with the schedule the buckeyes play year in and out its no colossal achievement to make it to the big game. This is the very reason that a playoff system gets voted down EVERY TIME by the Pac 10 and Big 10, because they know it will always be an SEC or Big 12 team playing for the crown.Good luck in the Rose Bowl.
no, the reason the playoff keeps getting voted down is that it is a colossally stupid idea. we'll still have stupid disputes (i.e. which teams to pair together, who to leave out, what if team #1 beat team #4 and team #2, but not team #3, etc.), and we'll ruin the bowl system, which allows for 7-4 teams to cap off their seasons with satisfying wins rather than embarrassing losses in horrendous mismatches. and seriously, why is it so fucking important that we have an undisputed national champion?
Because Utah or USC could have won it against UF this year.
Utah outplayed UF against Bama.
USC had the defensive tools to stop Florida, and their offense is balanced enough to gain consistent yardage at a slow pace, meaning UF would have even less time to score.
GO BLUE! but plzzz osu beat the living crap out of usc. bring some pride to the big ten. im sick of hearing about how bad the big ten is. you guys can lose 11/22 though. its good with me.
ANSWER: Texas, USC, Miami, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Cal... Basically the Big time programs that no one else has the balls to schedule... Is that the OOC opponents you were refering to?
That list is only from the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Your list goes through 2016.
Sorry Buckeyes, they schedule one decent OOC game a year, then play in the Bad 10. Three creampuffs, one tough game a year, then run through the sorry Big Bad 10, with "teams" like Iowa, Purdue, Penn State, MIchigan State, and the rest of the sorry lot.
We play USC this and next... That more than balances out three "cream puffs"... Who else schedules elite teams like USC, Texas, and Oklahoma? Most Big 6 conference teams play four cupcakes at home. The Big 10 is no more soft than the Pac, Big East, and ACC. Maybe you should learn some facts instead of listening to the boneheads on ESPN for your opinion.
Hey, keep playing Div 1AA schools if you want, I could care less. But prepping with those schools before playing USC is a big, big mistake, in my opinion.
THe big bad Buckeyes, bullies of the Bad 10, are coming out west to get worked on 9/13. It's going to be so funny watching those Buckeye videos again...are you familiar with the "Don't Cry Out Loud" series on Youtube? Check it out, it's hilarious.
It didn't hurt us against Texas or Washington State in '02 when we held the co-Pac Ten champs to 7 points. Everyone begins there schedule with cupcakes so don't crucify OSU for doing it.
To bad that will never happen BTW... OSU 27 USC 13... HAHAHA....
I agree in that I didn't like the fact that OSU had teams from the MAC and Youngstown State on the schedule. Tressel scheduled Y-Town State as a favor to them (money) since they gave him a chance to be the head coach. As for the conference, there's nothing OSU can do about that. The Pac-10 has Washington and Washington State, and the Big 10 has Iowa and Minnesota. You play who you have to play. And, yes, the USC-OSU game looked like a scrimmage for USC this year.
As the good days of college football comes upon us...there is only one thing to say..Michigan still and always will suck ...Go Buckeyes

The SEC has been playing the most Div 1AA schools yearly for the past sixteen years straight.
