@historyman4773 The rhythm of the pic switch tries to follow the rhythm of the music: the idea was to waltz with Alsace...watch it again, this time in rhythm! :) Thx for enjoying watching it, I certainly enjoyed making it! AND visiting it!
Wonderful! It also makes me realise that even after many visits to the Elzas and most of its better known places, there are also many beautiful sites I did recognise from the past...
Très belles photos .,accompagnées de cette valse N°2 de Chostakovitch, qui ,bien que n'étant pas Alsacienne,s'accorde bien avec le rythme de défilement de la vidéo.Bravo à Vous.!!!
I searched for a long time for the right kind of music to illustarte this wonderful set of pictures of beautiful Strasbourg and Alsace. They made me feel like waltzing, but not to a Paris waltz. Then I found Mr. André Rieu's great arrangement "Strauss & Co.(Waltzerpotpourri)" and things just seemed to click into place.
Anyway, enjoy!

Gorgeous video! The pictures seem to switch a bit too quickly. As soon as you can focus on them, they change. LOVE the Music!!!

Thank you so much! This collage illustrates why Strasbourg is my favorite city on the planet and why Alsace is my favorite region in France.

Une petite note: 1:21, c'est la ville de Nancy, en Lorraine. (Juste d'à côté) :) (La Place Stanislas)
