Search The Hunger Games Katniss and Rue...there is an incredible trailer out there...remarkable acting and both female actresses kicked ass in it. No doubt neither have had a shot at the big screen just yet but their performance was so touching I was in tears while watching it. the last book came out on my 14th b-day lol. Katniss needs to be as she's described in the book. Whoever they chose should have brown eyes, be relatively muscular, and not as pretty as many of those options. The actress will have to be in her teens: somewhere between 14 and 17. Katniss is pretty, but she's not the most beautiful person in the world. Her hair should be brown, even if it's dyed brown. She needs to look like Katniss. Kristen doesn't look like Katniss. Frankly, none of them do.

i like twilight and the hunger games (even though the hunger games is better) but i do agree that having twilight actors in the movie would ruin it. both are cool but they REALLY need to be kept separate

I think "Bree" would be a very good Prim or Rue but NOT Katniss. Katniss needs a slightly older and more mature actress to play her.

Why can't the actors be fresh and unknown? I'm sick of the the vampire shit and the same old can't-act-but-looks-pretty actresses. Call auditions for these roles. There are plenty of awesome Katniss's out there!!

I don't care who plays Katniss as long as it's NOT KRISTEN STEWART! She already failed Bella - probably the most boring and pale character in litarture with no abilitys and characteristic traits at all, Katniss is just beyond her horizon. I swear, if I see her spastic shakes or her teeth again... arrrgh I hate those teeth, is it so hard to close your mouth from time to time?

Pfft trust me. Kristen Stewart will be a choice actor for most movies next year. I'm already hearing that she was one of the actors to maybe be cast to play Max in the Maximum Ride movie. No surprises there though cause the director is the same one who directed *shivers* TWILIGHT. Lets just hope we won't be seeing more of her in the box office next year.

Noooooooooooooo. My opinion is, they should get actresses and actors that isn't very known to play the characters. Kristen Stwewart, Dakota Fannin and all them would ruin it. For Peeta get like Max Lloyd Jones andd for Katniss get like Troian Bellisario.

OH, and for people who think Kristen Stewart is a great actress. I beg to differ. She's not that fantastic. She's dry and boring. Her skills are minimal and no personality. Seriously, the most emotion I've EVER seen on her face was a half smile, and even that looked completely fake and unnatural. She just doesn't have it.
Don't hate be because I hate Kristen Stewart, that's just my honest opinion. Get over it.

All of these suggestions for Katniss fail. It would be SO much better if they didn't use a well known actress. Especially from the crap known as Twilight and Vampire Diaries. It would simply ruin the movie. This cannot be another Twilight. I will shoot myself in the face if it turns out like Twilight. It simple WILL NOT DO.
Kaya Scodelario would be the best choice. They need to take in account what the fans want. And the fans want Kaya. It's been proven.

the last book came out on my 14th b-day lol. Katniss needs to be as she's described in the book. Whoever they chose should have brown eyes, be relatively muscular, and not as pretty as many of those options. The actress will have to be in her teens: somewhere between 14 and 17. Katniss is pretty, but she's not the most beautiful person in the world. Her hair should be brown, even if it's dyed brown. She needs to look like Katniss. Kristen doesn't look like Katniss. Frankly, none of them do.
