  • Is there any particular reason why you made the LVM volumes for /tmp in the beginning and not as a part of the main LVM group?

  • Great video.

  • Very good. Instant help.

  • Nice, but a question arises:

    - why do you put 2 swap partitions? Isn't it possible to have swap also on a RAID-1?

  • @bonnyfused

Tried this some years back - also in debian.

Yes you can run RAID-1 on the swap. also.

I dont recall why but I did not run raid on the root partition.

My experience is that the performance isn't that impressive - but it was a very fun project.

  • Hi! That video was great! It really helped me get LVM setup and working. I have a question that maybe you could answer or direct me to a decent solution.

One of the 2 drives went bad. Is there a step by step procedure to replace it? I am assuming (and I know that's not a good thing to do) that it is not as simple as shutting the pc down, replacing the bad drive, and powering it back up...

  • This something I'd also like to know! It would be nice to be prepared when/if things go wrong.

  • dont u have a graphic card driver??

the screen load piece of piece!

  • excellent
