  • "i'll just knock on your door 'hey, we're playing down the street'"

dont joke with my dreams man

  • Damn Rebecca turned butch. ;)

  • The main tone you are hearing is the Jubilee. I have a 1987 Jubilee I picked up this year for $1500. Yes the other amps he supplements his tone with are a bit more spendy but he could do a whole show with just the Jubilee and sound the same. When you have a ton of amps and the means you would be tempted to figure out a way to bring a few of them out on the road. Clapton is a legend and has been through every phase you can go through. There's no reason to compare him to Clapton or anyone else.

  • who would have know you can get a '59 les paul on finance...

  • Every solo has a wah on it? I smell Kirk Hammet....

  • @StrangeDudeManThing Sorry but NOT expensive? That's four boutique amp heads right there in the one rig..

  • is this Gregor Hilden old 1959 les paul from this video?

    /watch?v=o9Ujm4HEXGc&feature=related

    they look very simular

  • @bchant19

no.... it is the skinner burst that used to belong to some usa collector

  • any one keen to tab this one out?

  • Love the '59, but man he has a very complex rig, multiple amps, big pedal board, Clapton did it with just a guitar, a guitar cord and an amp, you can't get better than that ;-)

  • @SDPickups

Totally agree man, give me Clapton's Les Paul Tone over Joe's $25000.00 amp and effect setup any day.

  • @SDPickups

Actually Joe doesn't need a very complex rig to sound like Mr. Eric Clapton. Check it out - /watch?v=QrS-9fCYbVk

  • @SDPickups

ok, im a huge fan of the divinity of eric... but i have to say that´s unfair. in general, that´s not a huge rig. and eric used a wah pedal in cream for a large list of tracks.

  • He's great ... JB and Kenny Wayne Shepherd are my idols. The sound he gets from this axe, or ANY of his guitars, is awesome.

  • that is the thickest sound i've ever heard. AWESOME

  • What a guitar, and it's fantastic that Joe's gigging it rather that just using it in a studio. Superb!

  • Superb Lespaul Sounds Incredible,I wish I Can Afford One Like That Before I Past Away,Joe Look's like a regular guy but he Plays Guitar Man Oh Man....

  • I think that all of the great guitar players of the past have influenced Joe. People like Clapton,Page Beck, Hendricks, Vaughn, King, Gatton name one.. My buddy and I are always saying he's doing a Beck lick, or Danny Gatton run. Lets face it. Joe just fn plays so incredible he's Sick.

  • @terrag51 You have to be able to spell HENDRIX.

  • Oh man, THAT TONE!

  • Magic tones from that guitar...It is so great to see someone who works this hard and is as passionate about guitar owning and _playing_ this...

  • Fantastic! So cool to see JB gigging such a rare and expensive guitar. If anyone deserves to own one of these then Joe does.

  • Anyone else think that Joe sounds like Frank Oz?

  • He clearly deserves it :)

  • He's got clapton's beano/cream tone with that guitar. DAMN.

  • i wonder how much he paid for the 59?

  • I heard aaaaa looooooooot of Jimmy Page in this video.

  • I get to see him for the first time on the 16th. I am so ready for that performance. The best young blues gun since Clapton. He's on my short list of people I want to meet some day.

  • SWEET JESUS THAT '59 is BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • is that an original 59?

  • @sebasdive

    He just said it was

  • Fantastic player + Fantastic guitar = Fantastic tone.

  • @RyRobCon Fantastic tone, player, guitar? BIGGEST UNDERSTATEMENT EVER!!!!!!11

  • ITHACA REPRESENT!!!
