perhaps this is why the love of Sarah Palin. one can be "fed up" and still maintain party identity, and won't have to go into the scary realm of being who/what you are without a label or an obvious herd around you for comfort and protection and reassurance.

Everyone could leave the Republican Party and they'd end up forming another party.
We don't need to form a new party. Reps make up about 1/3 of party affiliated voters, less than half of those are core Conservatives. Guess who makes up the other 2/3 of party voters? Democraps.
So go ahead, form a party that has a really strong 10% showing at the polls and see how far your policies get.
