my dads mom used to date don kent. I looked him up on youtube expecting him to be a cool cat and i find this...boos from the fans while his name is announced.
Whatever happened to Chuck Allen? Bob Finnegan was doing the commentary. This was actually around 1973-74. Don Kent later wore a dog collar and carried a chain he called 'Charlie" in his trunks .
A bit to long winded on the post match hype,other wise a decent action match from these two rough / ready guys.Excellent camera skills / shots / focus on the guys / ring action along with H.Q. option of viewing made this well worth viewing.Thanks for posting.
This was from The Original Sheik's Detroit branch of the NWA. This match had to be from the late 1970's / 1980 at the latest. The promotion went out of business in 1980.

I remember Bulldog Don Kent from his old Detroit Days wrestling at Cobo Arena in the 1970's.
