Because we are told who to like. How many rockers know who Victor Wooten or Jaco Pastorius are, and they've been around for a long time. We've let riff based rock take over and if a song is over 2 minutes and 30 seconds, it's "too long". This guy is a real talent and he won't be picked up because he doesn't play songs by Nickelback or Black Eyed Peas. It's a shame.
