these pirates are not organized, so they were screwed, what if they had explosives on board and they came close to the navy ship as well. instead of one hostage they could have the one whole ship, they thought all the things would go as they expected. they only had a plan "A" they didn't have a plan "B" and "C".

Nice use of intelligence by the Navy. Sad use of desperation by the pirates. We have no concept to be in their shoes. I hate the Pirates of the Caribbean Music type soundtrack to fuck with our minds. The story while very important, and clear, was disneyfied for those who cannot think for themselves.
