Andrey, I am from Brazil. Your play with very good performance of Noite de Lua. Congratulations. I am ancionus to see in YOUTube, the music from DM named CORAL DEL NORD. Do you play it?
@limafc30 Thanks friend! I don't play it, but I can learn and post it especially for you. Just wait a little bit and remind me. I'm preparing another piece by Pixinguinha for posting and after that two new pieces by Reis: "Ya" and "Ausencia". After these I may start learning and posting your CORAL DEL NORD. Just remind me in a couple of weeks.
I just read that you have a birthday - I'm waiting with excitement, what you will record to youtube during your birthday party! Happy birthday to you, the "Jukebox With Soul"! Note that I sent a video response as to celibrate your birthday. Ps. Thanks for videos, I'm your big admirer.
Thank you my friend. I know exactly that LUA means MOON. So it may be translated something as MOONLIGHT. However, I may ask my Brazilian friend for translation of the title.
Beautifully performed, Mr. Shilov. For all of you wondering, this music genre is called "Choro", which literally means CRYING. "Lua" means MOON and "Noite" means NIGHT. "Noite de Lua" could be translated as a night with a visible full moon. Maybe that's when Dilermando composed this beautiful "Choro".
Yeah. A few years ago, when I didn't know Dilermando at all, this friend of mine gave me a book with many transcriptions for acoustic guitar, which included 'Noite de Lua' on the first page. So I started playing it and sounded real cool (my interpretation), and then I listened to Dilermando playing it himself. You know what I mean, you probably felt the same.
Have you ever been to Brazil? Let me know when you're playing nearby!
No my friend, I've never been in Brazil but I love Brasilian music very much! I like Reis' style of playing. The more of his pieces I play, the deeper I adopt his style. Unfortunately no one has organised any concerts for me in South America yet. So you may watch me here...Regards!
I like this song a lot, but I cannot find any sheet music for it. I was wondering if you could send me your transcription, or help direct me to find it.
dilermando reis is one of my favourites brazilian composers, and this piece "noite de lua" together with "eterna saudade" and "se ela e perguntar" are very romantic and beautiful music from old times.
Great my dear pajarillo!I don't know if u have seen the execution of the same song by another guitarist named ovidiov(brazilian)on u tube..by the confrontation of the ones, i see the difference between a classic guitarist and someone who seems nearer to his culture. He put on his interpretation a certain feeling, but your interpretaion unite feel to a very great dynamics of your touch and i liked it very much.Great!Could you send me, if possible, score? You make me feel like learn it!grazie egidio
Dear Edigio! Thanks very much for your comment! I'll check this guy's performing of this piece. Unfortunately, I don't have this score in my computer and I still don't have a scaner. Regards!
I agree, i think it's an amateur too. But i see in his performance a bit of sadness and maybe this sadness gave me the sense of feel. Anyway it's the beauties of music: to cause different sensation to anyone, isn't it? But, between the two ones, i prefere yours!;-) I like your feel and i subscrived your space. If you come in Sicily (Italy island) to perform i come very gladly to see you. Ciao, Egidio
Dear Egidio! Thanks very much for your nice words. Of course, you are right, everyone finds in music what he wants. I'm not against his interpretation, but I play like I feel. Maybe if you help to organise some concerts for me in Italy I'll come somewhen. I have a great friend in Italy - Vincenzo Pocci - do you know him?
Вы просто великолепно играете! Я когда в первый раз услышал музыку этого композитора (вальс Eterna Saudade), подумал, что это русский романс, и потом удивился, узнав что он из Бразилии. :)
I red anything about him, incredible work! Anyway, i don't have, actually, the ways to organize where i live (Palermo, Sicily), my friend. But if i find the way i will help you very very gladly!! Con affetto, Egidio
Dear Egidio, thank you very much! It is not so difficult indeed. Just to gather some people who are interested in classical guitar music, hire a little hall (it may be a club or even school), to figure out expences and that's practically all. I'm not insisting however. If you have a chance somewhen in the future just remember me.
a true 7 strings master has to be brazilian or russian.... bravo....

Good technique but you lose the rhythm many times , especially at the part you repeat from 00:03 to 00:04, too fast every time.

@Musicalicious100 Nobody forbids you to play it in "correct" rhythm, without any swing etc. You sre welcome to show your own skill.

I've checked Ovidiov's performance. It's an amateur performing in my opinion. No energy, no pulse...My ethalon is performing of Reis himself.
