  • Hey man, great job, there's alot of stuff on this song that gets missed. Even I missed alot of it, he does a bunch of 5/7 chord shape harmonics instead of regular singular notes. good though! that's how i played it at first, if you pick up a book called the essential Jaco Pastorious, they tab everything out in there JUST how he played it on the album. GREAT JOB though!

  • hey thanks for the comment! yeah i've been trying to get my hands on that for a while, definitly should come around to it sometime. it's easy to miss out a lot of stuff by ear, especially when you're trying to play jaco!

  • Cool rendition! All the technique stuff is there - now comes the really hard bit: letting your personality speak through it; maybe through the ebs and flows of the tempo ? the dymanics highs and lows ? Just my 10p worth...really enjoyed it dude. Props!! :D
