Even with 750hp, I can't find a single test where the Super Snake has gotten better than high 11s in the 1/4 mile, and the best 0-60 I can dig up is a 3.8. Power means nothing when you can't put it down.

I cant wait 2 see how it does against the Z28. The Gt500 & ROUSH barley matches up to the ZL575 & Hennessey. It just handles a tad better. It all comes down to personal preference because they all are Great American muscle Cars. Im saving now for the 2010 camaro 2ss and add some LT Headers,Mid Pipes,Slp LoudMouth Exhaust, Slp pully, B&g lower springs, swaybars, Air Raid Intake, ETC.

Ford finally came correct and got a Stallion to compete with the Z28. that means the new gt500 should be a good match with the Ls9, Z06, and HPE700. I love the front end of the new Mustang but i HATE the back. IMO, the 03, 04 Terminator was the best Stang. Like i said, it all comes down 2 personal 0pinion:)

@ddog0804 to get a super snake you have to call the shelby plant in vegas. if you own a gt500 already they will upgrade it or they will start from a new one. if you are lucky and the shelby plant in vegas is the one upgrading your car it will take 3 months. thats where ours was done.

DOHC...four simple letters that separate ford from chevrolet. pushrod engines are limited and cant even think about the rpm's that overhead cam's can. Buy a 03' cobra(20 grand), slap it in the face with 20 g's, and buy a good camera so you can take pictures of the zr1's owners face as you blow its doors off...oh and you can laugh all the way to the bank with your extra 60 grand, mabe donate it to gm so they can design a better engine. haha.
