Good stuff bro, just on the refrain and he walks down from the higher notes of the melody, instead of just walking up the notes of the chord. Its a different take on it.

Also, mess around with your EQ on your amp and add more treble into it, instead of hanging onto the bass so much. Adding treble and mid, gives the sound more kick and it sustains longer. Other than that, keeping rockin the bass bro!
