Star Wars Review: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

I don't get all the dislike for this game. I bought RSII because people said it was better, but it turns out that I could play it with my friends and do a lot more stuff and more missions with more variety in RSIII. Also, watching all that is happening around you is pretty cool to look at.

as much as it pains me to say this, this isn't a great game. it's not really the ground portions that break the game, as people will tell you, it's the flight portions. They're just far too easy and too short, not to mention there's too few of them. Take the first Raltir level for example. It's probably the most fun mission in the game because it's one of the few where you really can fly wherever you want. But it's far too easy and can be completed in 2 and a half minutes.

Honestly I agree with you. I don't hate it, but give me Rogue Squadron 2 anyway of the week.

The best thing about Rebel Strike is the multiplayer.

Good review but "UNLEASHED" will re-write history for Star Wars games. lol. I mean it has a line of toys based on it. Did you ever have any of the SNES games. They were sidescrollers but cool.

still prefer rogue leader, the death star trench run still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! but rebel strike is not bad

Yeah same here. Although my favorite levels from Rebel Strike are Battlefield Hoth, Speeder Bike Pursuit and Attack on the Executor.

I think this game is ok. It had some cool new levels like the attack on the Executor. Didn't really care for the on foot levels. I think I'm going to do a review on BFII and Republic Commando.
