@draugaskaleda Sukachev's version is very good and I have to agree with you. Very close to what Vysockyj would approved on. But different countries singing the song have a different approach AND understanding of this song. You must remember that Vysockyj was very popular and pretty openly listened in Poland during the Soviet times when he was banned over there. To Be continued...
It might be a bit of awakening in Russia for all these great poets and singers they had under the Soviet regime when we could listen to them in Poland well before the average Russians were able even to know about their existence. At the end of the day it is about a personal taste and as very often it happens I love and prefer this versions as well as many others including Sukachev's one to the one of Vysockyj's.
Najlepsze wykonanie "Koni" jakie słyszałam. Trudna pieśń, a Panu Panie Mirku udało się trafić nią do serca. Wielkie brawa dla wykonawcy i dla niezapomnianego autora Wołodii Wysockiego.
Pieśń jest uniwersalna. Dotyczy każdego z nas. Każdy ma takie konie jakie sobie wybierze.
Nie mogę przestać tego słuchać. Piękne do prawdy

Quite nice performance.
Its very hard to sing Vysockyj. Very few artists succeed.
Though, the best version of this song I think is performed by Garik Sukachev.
