VERGIL DOES NOT HAVE A SON NAME NERO. How can he have a son if he hates humans wasn't he in the demon world the whole time? I don't think vergil have wife  he never married damn people and thier fake info.

I'd like to know what happens to Vergil after that battle. Is he actually dead, or did something else happen to him? Mundus only says he's been defeated, not killed.

Capcom did a small mistake. In dmc 3 Vergil took the golden amulet. In dmc1 he has the silver one.

DMC 3 is the prequel of DMC 1

In DMC 3 which is the "first part", Vergil stayed in the demon world and fought the Prince of Darkness believing he could beat him but he was wrong. Vergil had been defeated by the Prince who after that took control of Vergil's mind and Vergil became his slave. That's why he reappears in this part as Nelo Angelo whom Nero was named after. After all, Nero is the reincarnation of Vergil. I figured out this one myself but I think this is the only possible explanation...

Well its not really feasable that nero is virgil reincarnated.

Dante would be old if this were right, and if not him, then lady or trish would be.

Actually, Nelo angelo was originally supposed to be Nero Angelo. This didnt happen due to a translation error.

But nero and virgil probably have some relationship

@2BaD2BNo1 I don't think we should assume anything other than Nero's somehow related to Vergil until Capcom gave up some update. It just makes things much easier for me that way.

@2BaD2BNo1 accurate only to the point that vergil is the prince of darkness and that it was mundus he tried to defeat but failed to kill. The three glowing orbs at the end of DmC 3 are mundus.
