Felicidades Nobuyuki.
Well, Nobu's mother, Mrs. Itsuko Tsujii, is a very fashionable lady. It always saddens me that Nobu never really did get to touch all of the letters on that sign.
I included that scene in this video that I uploaded because I think it's symbolic of the hurdles that Nobuyuki Tsujii has to go through, and the support that he needs, to achieve what he wants to do.
What a beautiful and gifted young man this is! And such a beautiful family too! I wish him much success in his Carnegie debut and may he have a long and successful career as a concert pianist!
>I like how the teacher has a big book open, and Nobu has it memorized ^^
Yeah - I agree. :-) :-) The same thing happened when Nobu performed Rachmaninov's "Tarantella" with Yeol-Yum Son in Tokyo and Seoul in September 2011. Ms. Son had to keep turning the pages of the score, while Nobu just kept on going with all the intricate notes memorized in his beautiful mind.

Thanks for your comment.
Yes. Tsujii-san was brilliant at the Carnegie Hall on Nov. 10, 2011. I hope he will continue to perform in America.
